Interesting ; the newspaper reads : Ferrari F360 !!! Do football players drive Ferraris over there in Brazil ?
lol yeah that is funny!! Im sure the football players do drive Ferraris. I would never consider buying or driving a Ferrari in Brazil!! May as well paint a Bullseye on your forehead!! Ill stick with a simple GOL !!! lol
I dont understand a lot the portuguese... But a few things that i understand were that... The owner is Joao Luis Raiza and he is a owner of a civil construction or something like that... No one was injured, his g/f was in the car when the crash happened And i couldn´t believe the price of it...like 700,000 if i´m not mistaken
Price is about right, vehicle and import taxes in Brazil are insane. The owner is into construction, his son was in the car, lost control and messed it up, they think he was showing off maybe drunk. The photographer who shot the car on the truck claims he was punched by the driver when he was taking pix after the accident requiring stitches. No one was hurt.
hope that isn't an omen .... regarding Ferrari's chances. So, bullseye. Are abductions still a problem?
lol... I can show you a good place where you can buy a fully armored Maserati in Sao Paulo if you want to find out
There was a brand new Enzo - still in its wrapping - at Ferrari Beverly Hills, that the American owner wanted imported into Brazil. After he found out how much it would be to import it into Brazil, the owner sold it.
Manda Bala is an excellent documentary out in theatres now, it's about corruption and kidnappings in Brazil. They spend time with a wealthy software developer who drives an armored 996 TT, it cost him like $450k USD to get it and armor it in Sao Paolo.
Thus the "Three Honk Rule"... When I lived there I would never stop at a rel light... you briefly turn your headlights off (to see approaching headlights to either side) Honk several times to alert anyone attempting to cross the street and run the red light! (of course at a reduced speed) We also drove "average" cars to blend in.. like VW's (not the bugs lol) the less you stand out the safer you are.
haa haa haa... you know what the "After Hours" service is like in Sao Paulo at 1 am lol lol not so bad.. you get a Girl Friend for $5 bucks and if you cant get it up after crashing your Ferrari.. she will watch the car while you attempt to hide from your pissed off father lol
Their is quite a few important Ferrari in Brazil ! I have many customers in Brazil, very nice people.I confirm that brazil's Import duties are pretty high.
Yes I agree with you, I have seen some Amazing displays of wealth in Brazil like commuting via Helicopter to work, a football game or Dinner lol (South America is a huge market for the luxury air taxi industry!). I am glad to see the cars there and it is actually a bit more exciting when you do see one as it is a very rare site to see.

Obrigado Cara! achei no You Tube... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82KxImIGX08 Translation... Kid takes dads F430, wrecks it, press show up to photograph the scene, one of the photographers is attacked by the kid, The reporters break it up, cops do nothing, photographer has busted lip requiring stitches, kid leaves scene, reporters ask cops why they let kid leave the scene after the assault, cop says he saw nothing, Kids leaves his Girl Friend with his buddies at accident scene, his buddies and GF begin heckling the press, kid is brought into station with his smiling father (who obviously has no idea what the repair bill for his car will be) and questioned, the rest is pending.
