How does tubi sound compare to stock?? High pitch like 355/ 360? Really love the 355 tubi BUT would like it to be of bearable std...
Hmm..in that case I am sure you will install the 3M stone guard film for your car. Just one drive up to KL at speed will see your paint work eating stones! Driving a Sgp registered car in KL will also see you getting a lot of attention from the local boys in blue...
I dislike any shields or whatsoever simply because it makes the paint work looks really dull... See how it goes but have not had much problem with my other vehicles.. Im a Msian so not much issue with the blue boys here..
That's very strange, Ferrari must have changed the option......my center console is a full carbon fiber, yours has leather sides. Not a big deal anyway . Here's mine: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi....I just got my car from Hong Seh....great guys! Absolutely love the Challenge Grill.... I am looking at them doing a retro fit on mine later...anyway enjoy the sexy car!! I too was looking at getting a TUBI....but after hearing the capristo I like that better...more high pitched F1 sound. check it out here.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlk2N0Ufefw
I've seen yours and was following your threads from the "painful" times when it was stuck in the customs and follow by weeks of public holidays... What a misery that was ah.. Superb interior but all red interior is kinda challenging for me as my first ferrari... I like the option cause u still get that plush leather feel amidst the high tech look of cf...
By the way, Ferrari did not change the option. I requested for it and it was a no cost option... U know what these guys are like when you start requesting things...
Wow, might have just missed you. Collected last friday and drove straight back to KL. How much it cost you to retrofit at Hong Seh? Must cost a bomb cost it involves the rear bumper apparently.... All the weekend for the next 2 months is almost full with outing, I am sure to put it into good use... Just gotta bear with another 500 km of running in or so... Do let me know if you are heading north... Would like to hear out your capristo if you ever fit one. keep me posted...
..............yeah, I remember that period...........terrible. But once you have the car, you forget about all the misery . It is not as red as it looks. For some reason Bordeaux does not appear correctly in the pictures......it is far from the truth. In reality, the Bordeaux is similar to a very dark red wine color, it does not appear red at all.
My favorite combo. I did Rosso Corso, couio interior, including carpets and dash, with beige daytona straps, STC2 stitching and piping. I saw a picture on this combo on a 360 about 5 years ago and I've finally been able to spec a car with it. I just found out today that my car is out of production and should be loaded on the boat this week. I'm dying to see it. Thanks for giving me a taste of what mine will look like. The best of luck with your car. Barry
I had a 430 without a Tubi for a weekend and did not like the stock sound. The tubi is a big improvement on the car's sound. I don't understand why Ferrari outifts the cars with such a weak exhaust when the car has such fantastic sound. Let it breath!
The timeline are usually spot on. It only took my car to clear port and register on the road. Best of luck and hope you lay hands on it soon.
I'm doing the exact same thing before I pass judgement. A good friend has owned several F430's since their introduction and tried more than one aftermarket exhuast systems. He claims stock F1 sound is still plenty loud and the purest Ferrari sound out there. He also says you lose some low end torque when using Tubi. My dealer agreed for what's it's worth.
