The true muscle cars were the 60s/70s American icons, like the Plymouth Road Runner, Shelby Mustang or the Corvette. These were not expensive cars, but down right fast and dangerous.

Not a "Muscle Car" in the slightest. As Nick's said, proper pony cars were from the 60's and very early 70's. Camaro 496 SS, Superbird, Dodge Charger, anything with a six-pack engine, Chrysler Hemis etc....

This Nissan is just a V6 woth a couple of blowers. Theses days apart from the yanks, Holden in Austraila still knock out what would be considered a "muscle car" and Vauxhall with the Monaro VXR can certainly lay claim.

Rover SD1 Vitesse. Came with a 3.5 litre alloy V8 engine making 190bhp and 220ftlb torque. Can be made to go pretty quick, and the handling is definately old school muscle car - a real hooligan's car! They were commonly used as Police cars, most famously the black ones used by the royal protection squad which looked very serious indeed.

Thank you!! I didn't know about that. Sounds truly like a hooligans car. Cool.

Nice shape for sure but a turd in the end. Ive had several E-body mopars from 340 to hemi and they are all slapped together low quality machines that dont do any one thing great, they sound and look good but thats it. The first time I drove a 427 69 camaro i wondered why I had spent all my young years with mopar, the car actually road and handled well and was a far better car quality wise.
