OK smarty pants. YOU find me one in this province. A 355 or a 360 in decent condition that isn't priced 20% above an appraisal and in need of work.

Yeah I could go to the states, yes I could travel to other provinces but I would have the leave eastern Canada, because other than a very few selection of cars, there is hardly any. I was in Toronto a month ago and saw two, but 5 minutes after arriving, the first one was a little bit of a beater, the seats were badly worn, swirl marks that were deep, rear tires were in need of replacement, a higher mileage 355, the owners yard looked like a salvage yard and the car was still calling for $74,900 with 58,000 kms. < Not a deal at all.

The only other 355 I saw while I was there was in good shape with somewhat low mileage but it was offered at $79,000 and was a year older than the first one I saw with a relatively poor history.

Start looking and get back to me.

As for the track I had a 60 foot x 25 foot patch of pavement done {from gravel} for $900 plus tax. That's what a 1/5 of the cost, I think the track will cost less than the next car I flip.

Thanks for the sarcasm, is there anything else your mommy or daddy can help you with today? Or would you like to sulk in the corner?

Im sorry but I think you have serious issues. Anyone that saves INTERNET POSTS for the purpose of throwing them back in someone's face later needs their head examined. Why would you ever care so much as to actually think back about this once it's over. Do you really have nothing better to do? You seriously have to have something going on in your life that is more important than arguing online with people you have never met before. In the grand scheme of life, does it really matter that your guess was right and someone else's was wrong? Grow up. How is it possible that you actually have the time in your day to devote to such uses and meaningless activities?

Not trying to be an ******* here, but a good track surface is going to cost a lot/ton more money than that. Call the Joliet Autobahn Country Club near Chicago to find out how badly their Historic HSR event went this past summer. Every car was skipping around from the bumps, the rainwater didn't drain effectively/at all, and there are something like 20+ turns. It's seriously like a mini-Nurburgring. That might sound cool, but it's not. A few years back Mid-Ohio had to re-surface their track a few days after getting it re-surfaced in the first place because the cars were tearing up the new asphalt so badly it started to turn into dirt rally. I wish you luck in getting your own track, but I think it'd be worthwhile to give Joliet a call and get an idea of what this costs.

I'm not trying to make you seem like a
but the $900 was for a patch, it wasn't the quote for the track. His company has been in business for nearly 50 years, I think they can manage.

I've seen a few tracks and a few roads that have been paved and quickly show bumps or undulations in braking zones, that's of course to be avoided. I already have an idea of what the costs will be and it's not a lot.

Well in that case I might have something wrong in my head. :)

This season so many strange (using a euphemism here) statements have been made on here, that I think it is worth keeping them for posterity and eventually proove that person wrong. The fun is, that I actually have met some of these people in person, so there is a bit more of a relation going on here.

It is not about guessing, but about one's knowledge and with that comes pride. I know nothing about any sport except F1 and I take it very seriously. As you can tell from my post count...So when somebody challenges me like this, then I pick up the glove. Some arguments can't be decided right away and take years of following the sport. Fine by me, that's what I have a save file for. You can call that nuts.

Very nice. The closest I ever got to driving anything like this was here. Not quite the same, but still fun getting very close to the concrete walls on an oval. This was the Chicago Speedway in Cicero. Long gone by now.

Also did a similar drive at the Joliet Speedway. That was not much fun as the "seat" was not fitting at all. I was sliding around in the cockpit.

It looks like Schumacher has gained a few pounds. That driving suit doesn't fit him like it did last year... ;)

    LOL

And that was even a few years back...Things haven't really improved since then. Oh well.

PS: That's Irvine's helmet in the yellow car and a semi finished MS helmet in the silver car.

The trick of my driving suit is, that it is about 2 sizes too long. So as I get wider, I'm just nicely filling it out. Villeneuve gave me that idea. :)

    -1

In his first year in F1, Hamilton beats the 2X defending WDC in the same car. In 8 years (IIRC) in F1, Massa has never beaten his own teammate in the same car. Not once.

You guys think Massa can be WDC?!? I am still waiting for him to beat his own teammate, let alone the rest of the field.

Don't feel bad. They'd have to spray me with fire retardent rather than try to find me a suit and then butter the car to get me in...
