Amazing, two official languages for the United States now. ^^ So it it goes back from the motor, to the rear wheels to shift gears, then back to the front wheels with another drive shaft running forwards from there? Or am I missing something?
I will tell you this much they got my attention, 3.8twin turbo I love it!. Hopefully the price isn't sky high iam gettin one!.

Based on its looks and alleged performance Id take one over that new M3. Not sure what else it competes against though... If I wanted something low and sports car like Id get the Z06 or Viper. If I wanted to spent a bit more money for the extra prestige id get a 911. I think the main demographic for this will be those kids that grew up loving imports like the 300zx, Supra and RX7 but now have the money to step up. Anyway..I think it looks good but theres just too many other cars Id rather have for the dollars
I think that is correct. I still can't get over the fact that it weighs nearly 3,800lbs. Hard to imagine it feels very lively with that kind of heft.
I just want to know whos going to lay down the bread for a 70k nissan?. Sure there's millions of "Skyliners" out there acrossed the US but most of them aren't exactly you know wealthy enough to pay for this one.
There's just something totally fishy about a car that has 473hp and can do an 11.7@127 in the QT. That weight, hp and trap speed do not in any way match up. Neither does the ring time. I'm rasing the BS flag until unbiased testing takes place. There's just no way a 3800Lb car with 473hp can hang with a 3100Lb 505hp Z06. I mean it's stats say it's as fast as the new 600hp Viper.
I assure you, after talking to Carlos Tavares who has been driving it (Gooodwood FOS to name but one venue) and chatting with Hiroshi Tamura, who is the honourary member of our club(and Head of Production at Nissan), its as fast as they say it is.
I havent seen any stats for the 1/4 mile mph? I was assuming it was gonna be doing something along the lines of 11.7@117-120mph. Where did you see 127?
i really like this car as economical alternative to p tt but do not believe these ring times. if true, then the car was factory 'prepped' beyond what they will sell with a warantee. i remember toyota did this with the last supra turbos that had magazine stats that werent reproducible. have to hand it to japanese with this one and the evo x (rs4 for 1/2 $) though. making amazing cars close to europeans at much less $. our vipers and z06's are very raw and impractical in comparison.
Not to mention, its incredibly quick shift times. A Z06 has more time losing velocity while you change gears. Its automatic box has a very quick shift time from what I hear?
Just my opinion..... Good numbers, certainly will be well built, BUT.........it's just not an attractive car. Maybe it looks better in person but there are too many other cars out there that are far better looking in that price range.
The car is a monster, no doubt about it, if you want a poser car go get one. Nissan made a car that will satisfy those of us that look for performance in a performance car, kudos to them. As for the drag tims, thats one of the pros of awd, one of th cons is the weight. Keep in mind this car is most likely underated.
