Ham fisted tech did it in and now I need a replacement for a 1985 Mondial QV Cab. Also Chrome Trim is rusty.

Anybody Got a direction to go!

I have a 84 308 QV (US) with dealer installed fog/driving lights. I do not know about Mondials, however, the Cibie's on my car are the same as the SEV Marchal (just different label), so I found a set on EBay and used the len/glass as well as the ceramic holders (although the holders appears to me to be part of the actual bulb).

If you post a picture of your Mondial, I'll see if you're fog/driving lights appear to be the same as mine.

Robert, why not make your ham-fisted mechanic locate a suitable replacement since he broke it?

Here's a pic of my Mondial's front-end (and fog light) for reference.

Tech was not forthcoming about incident claiming he didnot disturb it, however I had used the lamps that day on the way to other repairs and they functioned just fine.

Mine is the same as pictured Mondial

Images shows Holder which is held in by spring clip across the back of the Glass lens

Also found Tarn-X good for Cleaning wiring terminal and bulbs!
