Magnum PI cast to reunite on Las Vegas (tonight)

Wonder what they think about Nicholas Cage playing Thomas in the upcoming movie?

 

Cage? he doesn't fit the role, they need a strong macho type. Not some small frame, short little guy who is only in the movies because he Godfather is Coppola. What has this world come to.

 

Cage is one ugly dude too. Even Hollywood can't fix that level of ugly.

 

While I don't see Cage as a new Magnum I like many of his characters, and the variousity of them shows great talent.

 

I hate to see Cage driving a Ferrari then turn into a Ghost Rider

I saw the show. They were not in it very much. I was hoping for some sublime Magnum PI connotations or something but there was nothing.

I saw the show too, I was wondering if the purpose of their being there was to "test the market" as to whether or not they may work in a Magnum Movie together.

New Magnum? Definitely not Clooney, he's to plastic. Cage was good in a few movies like Con-Air but lately has been in several dogs (when his character took out those guys at the start of Con-Air I cheered). They need someone who can do that goofy laugh but is tough and believable. It's got to be an unknown, or maybe a second from a war movie. How about a cleaned up Crowe? He did well in Miami Vice.

Usually those who protest the loudest, aren't. But I too agree with you, he was/is one good looking guy. And talk about 'chick-magnet.' I just want to hang around him to get the cast-off's.
