Good for you Daniel. I started earning some money with computers when I was 14, and had my first book published at 15; being precocious is as much as a curse sometimes as it is a gift. Good luck to you and your endeavors; you're welcome to a ride in my F430 if you ever find yourself in the Seattle area.

Not saying he is lying... but I thought it was illegal to register a car if you were under the driving age in Va. (And in every US state.) Also, you can not insure one since you can not legally drive it and that would nuke registration too.

And if indeed he does own them he will be the FIRST 14 year old to come here and say that and be telling the truth.

Yes you all are right, i could be lying about owning then... but i'm not. There is absolutely no way for me to prove that the cars are mine because everything is in my fathers name (insurance reasons). I could prove that the cars are in my family's garage by taking a picture of me in front of it (disproving the statement that i found the pic online.

And thanks soooo very much for the offer to ride in your piece of art (aka f430), but i don't envision myself going to seattle. But i'le have to remember that! And if you ever end up in roanoke VA ile have to let you drive one of my cars. lol

Thanks to the guys that DO believe me, to the other guys... im sorry that you dont believe me because its the truth.

    ,Daniel

When I was your age, I too had a car. It was "mine". I had it, I drove it, I was given the money to go shop for it, but the title was in the name of one of my parents...and so was the insurance. I see no reason not to call these cars his.

I wish you the best of luck but your writing indicates a lot more work needed at school, so don't neglect that in favor of your business ventures.

Without appearing to be rude... how precisely have the previous posts had anything to do with 360 Challenges with gearbox problems?

Nothing. Just the typical things that happen when a 14 year old says they own a car(s) on FChat.

This thread must either be stopped or moved to an Off Topic discussion........it has nothing to do with 360s or F430s.

Daniel........please respect the topic headlines on this forum. There are different sections for various topics.

PM a moderator to move it to the Off Topic section, unless you want to end it, then ask a moderator to close the thread.

he was joking... but I do have a question, why would you buy 3 or 2 was it porsches that are relatively inexpensive when you cannot even enjoy them (not being able to drive) when you probably could have invested that money and been able to buy 1 car that is superior to the two that you currently own? No offense but the 914 isnt exactly a beauty queen. I guess fixing up cars is fun though, good luck with whatever you do

914 or 911? If it is the 914 you were talking about which 914?

If you are talking about the 911, i know. It is the process of being restored. That 911 is much superior to the 76 911 because Porsche switched to the galvanized body. The reason i bought 3 Porsches instead of say a Ferrari as an investment is because my family is extremely familiar with porsches. We have many contacts that fix/sell parts for porsches, not so many for ferraris.

And i guess as you spoke about investing you knew what i was going to say. The 911 was my 1st "investment". I was approached by a good family friend that needed to get rid of it. I got the car cheap and intended to have it finished by now but due to keeping my GPA at 3.8 (or above) along with lacrosse i had to put that project off a few months. My mechanic is also in the process of getting a new house (with a 3 car stand alone garage and lift). When he moves in the 911 is going to be the first car on the lift. The car would also be looking a heck of a lot better but unfortunately for the same reason i have the green 914 i don't have the 5 grand set aside to paint and make the body perfect. My father was lent the money i received for my Bar mitzvah. In may the car is going to be driven to euro specialties (highest end and best paint/ collision repair shop around) and will be completed.

If you are speaking about the green 914, that car has been in my family for 20 years. It is nearly perfect.

If you are speaking of the yellow 914, that car is faster then a 914 GT. It is an amazing car. It may not be too pretty but it is more fun then almost anything.

No im not joking. The high end clothing store wasn't doing well in the 1st place (it was out of season for clothing). And then my father bought a building in the best spot so we have had to pinch everything short lately. Luckily we have a family that believe in helping others out. We are slowly paying off the stores bills, by may we will be all paid off (the stores bills). During may we are paying off personal bills. And i'm 1 on the list. By the way, i volunteered to let him borrow the money he didn't ask.
