Sorry I missed it as well.

At noon, I was taking delivery of a vintage bike to add to the stable. Nothing like a little 2-stroke smoke, but lunch would've been fun.

This one's a 350 2-cylinder....think of two Lambretta 175s side-by-side. It's a '74 Yamaha, with a 8,500 rpm redline! Belches white smoke, smells like oil, goes like stink. Best part of it is that no actual money changed hands. I traded an (aforementioned) Lambretta for it straight up. The Lammy had style a-plenty but was a bit scary on the road. Although there isn't much traffic around here, it's still nice to have basic amenities like rear-view mirrors and turn-signals...little bits of insurance to let you know you'll ride another day.

The Yamaha joins a couple 2-stroke Vespas and a 4-stroke Ducati in the garage, wedged around the Ferrari.

    Darn it!

My wife and I just pulled in from Red Rocks not 5 min ago... My poor car was all alone out front...

We are new to the area (2 weeks!) and had hoped to see a few fellow F-Chatters tonite over there!

    Next time for sure...
