congratulations and enjoy it in good health joe.
The CGT clutch is not as difficult to master as you hear...what is difficult to control is your right foot! Be careful, the CGT bites, hard. Drive safe and don't ever let anyone get under your skin out on the road.
Joe Congrats she looks sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet, I myself cannot get behind one of those, 2 wheel drive with that much power and I'm a dead man. drive her in good health, come out on a run with us sometimes. Later and Enjoy Joey
just tell your wife... chicks digg you in the F430 and with the CGT, they dont bother.. hehee.. i guess she would let you buy it then ...
Thanks Hovik. Im not going to stall anymore. No throttle on takeoff and it works everytime. I have been gradually feathering in some throttle until I completely master the clutch
I dont think these cars including the F car's are chick cars at all. They never even look at these cars. It's the 14-17 year old boys that like it.
Finally learned how to respond to multi-quotes. Thanks ZeEn Thanks JOEY. I would think the AWD would benefit on hard launches but I dont know if it is better under other driving conditions? And just let me know when you guys are in NJ Thanks 3604u Thanks Leweyb . And I dont ever get road rage so no one will bother me.
seems like cgt hands down. how about a scuderia vs cgt. assume same $. scud has warantee, paddles, manetino. cgt has open top, 3 pedals i honestly dont know which i would pick.
Much prefer the CGT, an amazing machine. Watch out for the Carbon Fiber on the door panels, dash, spoiler, engine bay, etc. Many CGTs CF are turning yellow and Porsche is not staying loyal to their warranties. There just pointing fingers at the CF manufacturer. A huge lawsuit and complaint is being issued against Porsche from a good friend of mine. So, maybe the 599 is a better choice? Good luck! Here's a vid of when I rode in VRAlexanders CGT http://youtube.com/watch?v=jPT1l6tY478
CGT, even though I've seen 4 in about every color (red, yellow, black, silver) and dying to ride in one, I probably never will. It's getting colder outside. --RS
