Wow...can the woman on the video be any more boring? I'd say that her voice knocks $5k off the price immediately.

That "woman" is a computer generated voice. It only speaks what is typed in. Which is why it says "three hundred eights" Vs "308's." They would have needed to type in -three oh eights - to get the computer to pronounce that to suit you.

You guys that thought that was a real woman’s wife are approved for Stepford membership.

Too many cosmetic add ons after the repaint. The interior looks more like 80,000 miles.

offer 28K and go from there

And i hate it when they dont show the engine bay. Its a standard ferrari pitch....they show you shiny paint and chairs.
Interesting to see what it gets. But that interior needs to be redone (soon). The switches, and fading are to excessive.

Agree. If the paperwork shows that it has had a full major in the past 2 years, I'd say go up to $35K. But the interior will definitely need work. Be sure to look at the driver's side bolster. That is a sure sign of the age of the car, mileage-wise. Also, you need to check the old records. 16K sounds like nice low mileage. But those seats look like they have a lot more than that on them. Check the pedals also, and be sure to look under the car and inspect the engine bay very carefully. An '80 or '81 you may be able to Carfax, which might help pin down the number of miles as well. The odometer might be accurate, but when there is a difference in the appearance of the car and the mileage on the odometer, it makes me a bit curious.

BTW, the seats actually look like they are in decent condition for reconditioning, and a good treatment with Leatherique or one of the other leather care products could likely bring them back to first class condition without having to completely redo the leather. The seats in my old Mondial were much worse than that when I got it, and using Color Plus system, they came up looking almost good as new.

No. Should have one, driver's side except for the glass cars where it is on the passenger side. It also should only have one mirror.

(although those things shouldn't DECREASE the value - which is not anywhere near 50K)

Why would a 16k car NEED a repaint ? (mine has 63k and doesn't need one)
Why did they say original wheels "available", instead of "included" ?
(Extra charge for the original wheels maybe ? )
I wonder how they came up with the $50k price tag ?

I love my '80 but they are not $50K cars. You can buy cars like that for less than $30K.
