My 308 is missing an exhaust silencer...

    Just noticed this yesterday.. One of the 4 have fallen out. It's secured by a little screw on the bottom of the exhaust tip.
    Guess mine loosened up..

    I'll post a picture in the morning. Are these things readily available? I bought the car with this exhaust, don't know the brand.

    Will it's absence affect performance, or just the sound, of my car?

    Better find out the brand. It's not oem if the tips have screws holding them on.

    For sure it's aftermarket. Can't find a marking/brand on the exhaust system anywhere. May be custom.

    I'll take measurements and post photos tomorrow morning.

    Bummed..

    the only brand I have ever heard of with the exhaust silencers held in by a little screw is Stebro. They have a website and I think those things can be easily replaced if it is a Stebro. Based on what you describe, it sure sounds like Stebro.
