how many tdf blue 360 spiders where produced

Of the 2,985 360 Spiders of which I have records, only 60-65 were liveried in TdF. But there were a total of 7,500 360 Spiders made worldwide, so mine accounts only for a fraction of total production. If you use my findings to gauge what the total TdF percentage might be, it looks as though it would fall between 150-200.

I'm curious now, how many 360's (spyder or coupe) are Rosso Corsa versus non Rosso Corsa? Also any idea if the % of red versus non-red Ferraris has changed over the years?

 

Can we see a pic of this color blue?

Ferrari made 8,500 Modenas and 7,500 360 Spiders. I only have records of about 3,000 each, so any numbers I could provide would be woefully inaccurate. Determining Rosso Corsa as opposed to other reds would be extremely difficult with the information I have, as when a car is spotted, it is often simply referred to as "red" and its exact and correct color not identified. The guy to ask with those sorts of questions is Andrew Shaffer, at FNA ([email protected]). I used to ask him all sorts of questions like that, but returned answers were less and less frequent; perhaps my constant inquiries wore thin his generous nature.

Do you happen to have any info on how many TDF Blue Modena's are in the US? I've been on the lookout for one but am having a very hard time finding any, and am suspecting low numbers. Thanks

Of the 3,000 Modenas I know of worldwide (there were 8,500 built), 32 of them are US Modenas in the TdF livery.

 

Just curious... how does TDF look vs. Pozzi blue in-person? In photos TDF looks brighter, Pozzi looks like a deep navy. Would this be a correct assessment?

Carbon, how many of those 3000 Spiders are azzurro california? And how many Modenas?

 

Ten Modenas, four USA ('99, '00, '02, '03) and six Euros (two RHD).

Twenty seven spiders, 15 North American (one CDN, 14 USA) ('00, 5 x '01, 2 x '02, 3 x '03, 3 x '04). Twelve Euros, one of which is RHD.

 

The TDF is a little lighter, plus it is a metallic paint. Pozzi is darker and non-metallic. My 360 is Pozzi. I think it's a great color. That said, I love the TDF too.

 

Thanks Carbon and Brian! They both look like beautiful colors, I just hadn't seen Pozzi in person and some photos don't do either of them justice.

 

Carbon while this seems to be mostly 'blue' talk, can I get in a red question?
How many Ferrari> 360 (hard and soft top), 550 and 575 models were painted Rosso Barchetta. I am guessing the list would be rather short! Thank you.

Again, this is only for the 3,000 I know of. It does not account for the 5,500 Modenas and 4,500 Modenas for which I have no information. Also, please keep in mind that Ferrari made 3,083 550 Maranellos, and I only know of 1,300; and 575M production is speculated to be around 2,000 - I only know of 770.

Rosso Barchetta 360 Modenas: 10. Seven F1 (3 x '99, 2 x '00, 2 x Euros), three manual (1 x '01, 2 x '02).
Rosso Barchetta 360 Spiders: Four. Two F1 (1 x '01, 1 x '02), two manual ('01, '04).
Rosso Barchetta 550 Barchettas: Three. Two US (325/448 and 414/448), one Euro (156/448).
Rosso Barchetta 550 Maranellos: Eight. One '97 CDN, one Euro, two '98s, one '99 and one '00; two whose years are unknown.
Rosso Barchetta 575M Maranellos: Two. One '02 (F1), one '03.

I was wondering when I bought my spider how many in the TDF color were in the USA. I looked around the internet and found a few others in the TDF color but they all had a darker interior color.
Do you have any idea how many TDF blue spiders were built with the crema interior? My car is the car in this thread.
