Hello Everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry that I disappeared. Marcello and I went to Europe where we stayed for 2.5 month. We did 5 tracks in Italy (won the Bridgestone trophy, were second on Misano track), one rally in Italy (we came 3rd), one rally in France and the last leg of a 60th anniversary relay between Milano and Maranello!!!! Eat your heart Ferrari of North America (I call them Viagra mafia) who did not even invite Marcello for a relay. Who needs them anyway?????? Marcello is much tiered; he ran 7,500miles on the best roads and tracks of UK, France, Italy and Switzerland. He is now resting in the garage under his favorite blankets and there are nights when I hear him snoring . What is there for a girl to do but to go and buy yet another hot stallion!!!!! And the HOT he is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Baby Alessandro arrived 3 weeks ago and already has 1600+ miles; we already did one track (NHIS). He is gorgeous and fine machine. I can not find enough words to describe his lines and sound Of cause Marcello is jealous!!!! and if I kiss baby then I have to kiss the older brother I am trying not to keep them next to each other for an obvious reason; Marcello will do harm to a baby Alessandro I know that you will ask me which one is better NONE. They are very different; their design is based on a different concept. Even though they have almost the same power; the drive is different. Marcello is more of a gentleman and it takes more skills to drive him on the track. Alessandro is a beastly boy with all his power (530HP) instantly available, unbelievably tight cornering (all wheal drive), and a deafening sound that wakes up the neighborhood. Below are the pics that highlight Marcellos trip and show the new baby Alessandro. You are the most badass woman I know. Huge WOW on the trip to europe, and another wow for the new car. So happy for you!
Unfortunately.........NO. And because of that there is not even dust left on my bank account. Therefore, I do need a man to support me and my habits. It should not be difficult; I hate shopping, I am blessed with a good skin, I am a low maintenance on those female departments but....... gasoline, track time, car transport, new clutch, new brakes...... and do not forget new tiers every two track days... that will cost him more than a bimboo with plastic everything. Men are not stupid, the chois is obvious.... And that is why my hopes for a male sponsor are very low I am still in the office and will be here for a while) Thank you, my friends, for a good wishes
I have to second this comment. Ludmilla, you simply rock. Good to hear from you and wonderful to see the new addition to the family. Warmest regards, J.
NO It is the same as buying a very expensive rare car.... no test drives. You either buy it or just look at it .
Mohegan posted a list of winners for one of their promotions. There was a Ludmilla listed , I thought it might be you . Sorry I can not give you to much sympathy for the dusty bank account , you have a Lambo and a 575, I just have a 328 :-}
I must confess, I only clicked on this thread because it contained the phrase "Italian stallions," but those are some pretty cars...
Ludmilla - Glad to see that you're back. The Hudson Valley Chapter of ESR/FCA got together for the Vintage Weekend at Lime Rock & we had a little Ferrari caravan of a drive there on Monday. Hope you can join us next time.
Congrats Ludmilla! Sounds like an AMAZING trip and a terrific addition to the stable. Enjoy in good health! nlh
Welcome back and congrats on the newest addition to the family-look forward to a drive in the near future-who ya gonna bring?
Dear Stephanie, I am sooooooo glad that there is one more female on this forum!!!! I do have the same interests as you, except martinis , but I agree; trance music rocks!!!!! I have to confess that the last Italian Stallion" of mine (Alessandro) is not pure bread his Mom is Italian but his Father is German. That, of cause, is reflected on his behavior and his blue eyes. Marcello is pure bred and is as Italian as the best of them come (very moody and romantic). Except for the track he also likes long rides along the Mediterranean see and his favorite place is Portafino. He never gave me any problems there, and his favorite tracks are Misano Adriatico in San Marino and NHIS in the USA.
Edit: I looked at your profile to see that you are actually talking about cars! Haha.. I will be at the Turkey run Nov 18th at Lambo of LI to meet up with everyone before the event, maybe I'll see you there.
Dear Friends, I THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH for your good wishes. I do know that you guys and girls understand how I feel owning and driving my stallions. We are all car fanatics and speed junkies. And that is why we are on this forum sharing our feelings. Keith, life should be all about living and laughing. I am glad that I made some contribution to yours (Marcello does snore ) Roger, as you realize, it will be difficult to decide which one will come with me. At this point my Marcello needs a new clutch (any ideas how I can finance it?), therefore you will see Alessandro on November 3rd. Mark, I will gladly come for rides with ESR/FCA but I will not go with FCA on the track. I made a mistake of joining them on Pocono and still regret wasting my time. They have NO IDEA how to organize the track day. As I said: Viagra mafia.
Was just asking of you at the last meet from Joey Glad to see you back Ludmilla Congrats on the Superleggerra- I'D LIKE TO actually see you in it on the next meet. You truly have a passion for cars which I admire Hope to catch up with you on the roads- Have fun with Alessandro !!!!!!!!!!
Ok I have to admit I like Trance also . I do not dance however it is great music to drive to . One of the local stations here plays it late at night and I listen while I am driving home from one of my band gigs at 3 AM in the morning .
Everybody who does not know me or my cars does make that mistake All of my cars have names and personalities and all of them are special to me. I am not sure about Turkey run, but if I am there I will see you then.
Ludmilla great to hear from you, looks like you had a blast! I must say I'm jealous of your adventures in such fine automobiles, at the four I rememer you saying you had a Superleggera coming soon, congrats its a beauty as well as Marcello
