Very happy. Well done Ferrari. Well done Kimi. KR deserved the WDC, while RD, LH, and FA clearly and definitely did not. Justice has been served.

It's a cultural issue. Brits/Some like their role models as LH.
Others prefer Massa. Kimi. Kubica. Alonso.

I'm weeping and gurgling in a vat of self pity.

    :(

...on how Ferrari came back to WIN against RON DENNIS and SPYGATE and how KIMI finally got a WDC, beating the team he just left.

Ferrari didn't "win" either title, however, McLaren lost both.

The FIA are a bunch of goons. Their "consistency" is a joke and I have no faith in their motives. Furthermore I sometimes think that Max Mosely's approach to running the circus owes something to his father...

All my own humble opinion of course.

Felipe could have challenged Kimi & others if his Ferrari would have been more reliable, 6 poles, faster than any other, give him more reliable car & is the champ for you

Iceman owes to him the title

Blah, Blah, Blah. Boo Hoo. Kimi won the fast lap competition, Kimi won the most races, Kimi had his share of reliability problems. Kimi is the WDC.
This is a thread about how happy people might be that Kimi is WDC. There are plenty of other places to whine about how good Massa is.

+1 Wish it were the Mets but I like the Sox too.

As for the appeal, at most FIA will pull the WCC points from BMW/Williams. It's all over but for McLaren's whinging....

I started this year "knowing" Kimi would win.
Then LH popped up out of nowhere. Ran hard, got a little lucky string going and found myself rooting for him.
His rookie win would have been the best boost for F1 EVER !
As they say; Its not over till the fat lady sings and shes singing an Italian Opera.
    I can live with that.

Bullsh1t, I was born and raised in Boston and attended my first Red Sox game in 1969. I have been a Boston sports fan my entire life. Just because I happen to live in the metro New York area doesn't change that.

I also had a home in Florida and lived in California for a while, does that mean I have to be a Marlins fan or a Dodgers fan?

Not a problem then, I have major problems with people who switch teams because there team is losing and another winning. Especially Rudi Giuliani switching from NY to Boston is simply not allowed.

Yes, we have a few fair-weather fans here, for certain.

I lived with the lows of the Red Sox and Patriots for years, as I have lived through Ferrari's lean years during the 1980s. My support never wavered. I never stopped cheering for the Red Sox regardless of who wore the uniform nor is my support of Ferrari contingent of which drivers they employ.

I don't think too highly of fans who can't say the same thing...

Don't worry, I've always been True Blue. BTW My dad's a Redskins fan, and my bro is a Giants fan, so I claimed the Cowboys at birth.
If I wasn't a true fan, I would have converted a long time ago, I take so much **** when they lose its not funny.

I'm a Cowboys fan also, back from the Staubach/Calvin Hill/Duane Thomas/Bob Hayes etc. days....bet your dad remembers the great Thanksgiving Day game with the immortal Clint Longley....

I'm actually still in shock that Kimi won the WDC....

I thought this was a thread about Kimi winning the DC. I see enough baseball/football all the time (like in every bar I walk in) to have to stomach it in here too.
    BACK ON TOPIC PLEASE!

For the first time in my lifetime, the Cowboys and Ferrari are winning at the same time. Now if the Boys can pull off a Super Bowl, I will go nuts.
Still very happy :D. Unfortunately I wasn't around for Jody Sheckter and Roger Staubach back in the 70's :(.
