    The past two events were ~$10. My guess is that it will stay the same.

    Richard got some amazing shots of the MC12 near the banks of the river. The car even got us a nice chat with the New Orleans Harbor Police. Something about private property... :)

    As a few people were complaining about the turnout of cars both at the event and on other boards. I have just a thought and my 2 cents for what its worth.

    Most of the larger cities in this country have many more events with much larger turnouts. I think it’s great that we even have this type of event and it would be a shame if it were to disappear. I am glad that we had the fifty cars turnout and I appreciate the work it must take for all the event planers to put it together. It really is a shame that Louisiana has lost so many things post Katrina. I was in no way involved in the French Quarter Classic but was glad to see so many faces from the SCCA CENLA and DELTA groups. I also saw a lot of the guys from our last two Red Bluff Rally’s.

    Thanks for coming out and lets all hope that these kinds of events grow in participants and spectators so we never have say “do you remember when they used to hold X right here in Louisiana”.

    Good fun and it was nice seeing everyone.

    Below are a few "special" pix from NPR. Dario & the MC 12 were the star of the show, and the two together were magic. For those that weren't there, Dario was the only driver allowed on track without a helment and he is behind the wheel of the MC 12 doing donuts. Below are a pic of me with Dario just after he exited a 599, Kelly "squeezing" into the MC 12, and my son's first Fcar ride (thanks again Kelly). FYI, all pix except of his first ride, were taken by my 8 yr old (he took over 100!), enjoy...
