It seems like larry pissed him off. http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/showbiz/2007/11/02/sot.lkl.seinfeld.canceled.cnn
Larry's questions were BEYOND stupid.....I'd be more than alittle baffled and put-off if I were Jerry.
that was funny. not that bad - you could see Jerry was offended (touch of ego too?) but I think by the end you could see he was just teeing off a bit on the brain fart by Larry.
Give me a break, they were laughing about how stupid a question it was. Larry knew that, he just asks those questions for the people who are idiots.
Larry stumbled and kinda/sorta/almost implied that 'Sienfeld' might have been canceled...Jerry took offense and launced just a bit.
Larry had asked in a coy kind of manner whether Seinfeld had quit or if the show was cancelled. Seinfeld sort of looked at Larry like he was retarded and basically said the last episode had 75 million viewers and was at the time the number 1 show on T.V. He also asked if "this was still CNN and whether or not he could get a resume".
A few weeks ago Bill Cosby really got mad at Larry over his voting choice. He expected Bill to vote based on color and Bill let him have it. Did anyone else see it?
I missed that one, but would like to see it if there is a link. I've been a Cosby fan since '$50 car'.
Stupid comment by Larry (or his research dept) and thin skin ego-man Jerry...recipe for confrontation.
I think the funniest part was when Seinfeld asked if he could "get his resume in here". I do have to agree that Seinfeld was a little touchy, but Larry King needs to do his research. Period.
Indeed. What was Seinfeld doing on this worn-out show anyway? It is not like he needs publicity, or another hit series ever again in his life. I bet that Tim Allen would have made a funny joke out of it and just blew right by it. I am calling this like I see it - I never understood the popularity of his stupid self-absorbed show in the first place. The guy is IMHO an arrogant and abrasive jerk and it really came across through the screen. And yes, I know he is a big Porsche enthusiast and I don't really care if he has the very first 911 ever made.
What's with the attitude? He had an extremely popular show loved by hundreds of millions and it's still on the air and will be for a very long time. He made an absolute mint with it, gained fame and friends and will support his family pretty much forever. He's on the news and talk show circuit to promote "Bee Movie".
Didn't Jerry make over $300mm when his show went into syndication/? I never got the show either but then again I never watch TV....
The attitude is that I just don't like him. Now or ever before. I would not even bed down Elaine - not even drunk. OK?
