Tom Perkins on 60 minutes tonight..

just watched it....

I didnt get a "jackass" vibe about him at all. I did get the vibe that he does have an ego, and that he does enjoy his lifestyle. Really though who could blame him, im jealous and envious of someone with THAT much wealth BUT he worked for it, he put in his time, he created that wealth (whether it was from nothing or a smaller wealth he made it what it is today). So let him enjoy it, the governments dont give back enough to say " give us some of your personal money to help combat disease or homeless issues" I think the decision to give should be with the person themselves, in this case he doesn't give but its his money plain and simple no one could be angry with him for it.

-Interesting thought, why not "hire" although i doubt they could afford him, to be the financial adviser or head investment officer of a governmental system...even here all our country can do is pile on the debt.

They made it seem like it was such a big deal for him to build the boat, like he's the only one to do it. Aren't there yachts out there for double the money?

Such a waste of time . This guy has probaly a thousand different stories that would be amazing to hear and she is asking those stupid questions.. ugh.

 

I was interested to hear the story.............when I watched it, I wondered "what was the point of that?"...........

Back to that yacht. It's really cool-looking, but wouldn't it kinda suck to be hanging out on a yacht that keeps leaning with the wind? One of those things where it's only fun for the driver (captain, whatever).
