I could probably use one, too. However, I do make a meaaaaan pb&j!! :D

Seriously...I've actually been learning to cook. Sides are pretty easy to put together. I'm trying to learn how to make a couple different kinds of chicken and steak, which I can pair with lots of different things. I've improved quite a bit in the past few months. I tried to make pancakes for my boyfriend and I back in February and failed miserably. He said they were frisbees. Grr! I have improved since then! :D

Also, if you go to Publix you'll find that they have recipe cards that they'll give you along with a sample, day pending. The card tells you exactly what you need to buy and the prep is easy and quick. Those have helped me a lot.

Unfortunately, the cooking section is one row after the car section. Couple of nice Ferrari coffee table books there (last time I was in).

I would highly recommend a crock pot if you are new to cooking. Prepare the meals in the morning or on your lunch break and come home to a wonderful meal. They are easy to use and the recipes are straight forward. Typically, all you do is combine the ingredients in the crock pot, let it slow cook for 4-8 hours and that's it.

I have a recipe for ribs in the crock pot that is out of this world and so easy. Most importantly...a crock pot will raise your confidence level because it is easy and will teach you the basics on how to follow a recipe without the worry of undercooking or overcooking ingredients.

I can also give you an easy to follow Lasagna dish that is a little time consuming...but easy. I mastered this a few years ago and I can now say that I have a dish that I can take to a party and it will be a hit. I am getting good with all sorts of stir fry too - but it is slightly more advanced simply because you prepare the dish in steps, which allows for some things to over or under cook. I feel that this is what separates the easy to cook stuff from the hard to cook stuff. With a crock pot and lasagna there is no worry that you will over or under cook anything.

They used to give out cards at the EPCOT food festival. Ever attend that, since you live so close to there? Anywhere at the Disney area, those restaurant people are happy to divulge their secrets for their dishes......

I like to make things from scratch. I've made them for us somewhat successfully since. The first time I got a really bad recipe online, it wasn't my fault. The second time the batter was a little thick. I'll get it right the third time!! :)
No, I haven't. It has been ages since I've actually been to Epcot. Shocking, huh? I prefer Magic Kingdom. :)

My friend and I are going to try that stuff out and see how it is. It's more of a dare than anything else.

Well, the commercial was certainly amusing. Let me know how it turns out...perhaps it will help me cheat from now on. :D

I see Batter Blaster and all I can think of is Easy Cheese. Sure, you CAN manufacture this stuff into an easy to use spray can...but why?

Ages? Man , (girl), you need to get back there, although, by now, the food festival is over (I think). Food plus great musicians/bands.

Magic Kingdom? Hmmmm, fun , alright, but not for food.......
