Are all the 348 X-OST systems the same? (not including the test pipes)

I noticed on Capristo and others that some people refer to having "stage 3" for instance. Thought maybe there were some options with flow characteristics.

May have just answered my own question. I found a place on ebay that list the X-OST for sale and that it can be ordered in "Sports, Racing or Lemans".

So now the question is which one do you guys have that everyone likes so much?

Now I am confused about the various X OST models around. So which ones do you have - Chris, John, PAP???

Its funny that the X-OST website doesn't mention anything about this. Must be a poorly updated website ... hmm.

What exactly is the difference between the three models? Does the Le Mans refer to the test pipes by any chance?

If you simply want a loud muffler and don't care about a distinctive Ferrari tone, there are other alternatives in the market.

About 95% of our customers have the normal Sport model. 5% have the Racing model. We have never imported the LeMans model, nor will we without some kind of waiver regarding product returns. Honestly, the team at X-OST doesn't generally care about "loud". X-OST are more interested in a rich, smooth, deep Ferrari sound than any particular decibel level. Happily I like that approach, and so do most customers.

    Thanks a lot Daniel.

I think by inference all the X OST soundclips on youtube must be the Sport model. CSScott, pls post a sound clip of your car with the racing exhaust.

Never did a sound clip before. Is there some kind of cheap mic I can buy and plug it into my computer? Maybe you should ask yourself what kind of person am I?

    A. I like the way a stock corvette sounds. B. I like the way a stock viper sounds. C. I like to run my superbike with no baffle. D. my big block chevy don't need no mufflers???? It is a lot like C. Scott

I bought my XOst system from Daniel @ RICAMBI. Eugenio hooked it up to my HyperFlow cats. All this on a 348 powered Mondial t. I wanted more than "understated" but less than "over the top". What I got was perfection-----------. It's an amazing system, beautifully constructed and I would bet that 95% of the folks that heard it would be in approval.

    Cheers, Hank

Use a video camera to record the engine notes and save it to your computer and then upload to youtube.
