Does anyone use sheepskins on their car seats anymore?

If so, where do you buy them?

These guys are next door to me (a little far from you)...

I had sheepskins in my old 911 and they were really comfortable for driving around town, but not good for sports driving as they sort of work against modern sports seats (the fit changes, you slide around more easily and the bolsters don't hold you in place).

I have a set of Superlamb custom made seat covers for the 308, including headrest covers for sale.

Colour is silver/grey? Like new but could use cleaning.

There is also the issue that they use up just a little bit of your head and leg room, too. Maybe not a big deal to most, but I am pretty close to the comfort limit on this in a Testarossa...two of us here at work have 993 Targas and the other guy has sheepskings; I can even tell the difference on his car, although it is a little less critical than on the TR.

Besides the fact that a lot of people I know kind of equate this to the 1980s bad taste era ...

And besides the fact that I don't want people to think I am just trying to cover up some crappy seat leather ...

    Thanks for the replys.

I'd want one for a LS430 so no prob with leg/head room (its a barn in there) and no worry of spirited driving either.

The 1980s-bad-taste-thing might be a bit of a problem.

I love sheepskins......"real" sheepskins. Cool in summer and warm in winter.

How do you like the LS430? I was thinking of selling my 1999 Q45t and getting a 2005 or so 430... Is it a super cushy ride, or is there any hint of sportiness?

    Smooth as silk.

Actually not too bad in corners.

The V-8 actually has some guts.

Mine does not have the sport suspension package that some apparently have.

Still, this car is for driving 100 miles a day on basically straight, lightly populated roads; at that it excels.
