You claimed that clip of two cars banging each other off the track was "racing at it's best". If that's what you like take a peek at a Nascar race, they collide all day long, their cars can take it and it's a part of the sport.

In F1 the cars are too exposed and therefor fragile for that kind of racing, not to mention a wheel over wheel collision is disastrous.

So what is racing at its best for you? I agree with this guy you keep trying to label a NASCAR viewer.

Massa was in the car all year long. This is Michaels third time driving the car, of which the first was strictly just for fun, and the car was probably way out of date and spec. Massa should've at least been second. Massa did great this year, and I thought he was going to turn out to be something great, but I'm not feeling all that confident he can even be a good #2 next year with no TC. And now you have Michael there, the greatest driver ever, beating half the F1 grid. Why is he not driving Massa's car next year?

It's common knowledge that Nascar drivers bump and bang and it's been very well documented each season how fragile the F1 cars are when they start banging together.

Racing at it's best for me is when two drivers fight for position without ramming each other off the track in frustration, desperation or because they lack the skill to pass or defend respectively.

What!! I don't claim that's racing at it's best for everyone, for me yes brillant.

These guy's get paid a fortune Its called overtaking something to which you appear to infere is dangerous. F1 is the pinnicale of racing what do you expect the drivers to do!! wave them pass because it was wet the run offs were big enough no problem, entertainment great stuff.

You should apply for Max's job..and apply the rule if a car wants to pass put a flag out and let it, far to dangerous to let it race pass too fragile..

Keep your advise I watch BTCC for contact car racing.

...while all those FACTS posted so schematically by Andreas are TRUE...

take a look at the in board camera...

If this guy has something apart from the PURE SPEED is that he can learn...fast!

This is the inside footage from the Japanese Race 2007...Kubica has nothing to loose, but Massa CANT EVEN AFFORD TO THINK IN A DNF...

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=zuDuPH8BRFI&feature=related

The guy has it...and will be WDC

Actually Massa could well afford a DNF in that race. The Constructors Championship was already won and Kimi was ahead of him. It made no difference where Massa finished so he was free to take whatever risks he wanted to.

The most ridiculous comment expressed on these boards this week.

Do I need to be able to hit a major league curveball in order to say that I think the Tampa Bay Devil Rays suck?

Ridiculous is the fact that you people slate massa and say he isn,t a good driver!! look at the facts. race wins fast laps etc and how anyone can say he is no good is beyond me!! Look what this thread is titled for gods sake. You all know more than the ferrari management. Yeah Luca is dumb and Ferrari are employing crap drivers. Sure!

I honestly think that the first race in the wet will be rediculous.

Massa is fast at Ferrari, so was Rubens. If you have the top package most of the F1 drivers out there would be a terror. Now if you put Hamilton in a Honda or Toyota no one would know who he is

You forgot to mention, that ALL test times were lower today. Schumacher's time from yesterday would be equal to Vettel in the Torro Rosso. Comparing apples to oranges here.

    Barcelona - 15/11/2007
    1 . H. Kovalainen - Renault R27 - 1:20.659 (+ 0.000 ) - 81 laps
    2 . F. Massa - Ferrari F2007 - 1:21.011 (+ 0.352 ) - 92 laps
    3 . F. Montagny - Toyota TF107 - 1:21.363 (+ 0.704 ) - 85 laps
    4 . S. Vettel - Toro Rosso Ferrari STR2 - 1:21.486 (+ 0.827 ) - 67 laps
