While reading the NYT car section today, I saw Ferrari of Long Island's ad. Interestingly, it says to look for the opening of their new showroom in Plainview, in December. Does anybody know more details about this? Is this to be a second location, or does this mean they will be moving out of the present location in Glen Cove? Also, "where" in Plainview will this be?

Oh man, that stinks. I used to love seeing the Glen Cove location! Guess I will be driving to Plainview a little more often.

South service road near the spot where the ski shop is. Heading east probably have to exit at Sunnyside blvd. You can see it from the expressway but you're past it at that point.

Your all in the right direction, but your all off by some. I happen to know the space because the guy thats there now and sold it, is an old friend of mine. Andy, if you want to know, because your loosing sleep over it, PM me and I'll give you the exact location. I think its a great move. Great exposure. I'm sure that it will be as nice or nicer then what Bentley/Lambo of LI built. And if you have been to Bentley/Lambo recently, its one of the nicest showrooms.

Hey Gary, how've you been? I agree its a great location. We're building our corporate HQ just a mile or so down the service road. Heck I'll be able to walk there during lunch!

The space where the sign is, is only part of the showroom. There is another location that they bought just east of that. Andy, everything is great. How's your son doing?

Keith is doing well; he graduates in a couple of months and should be taking his board exam soon after. This summer he was fairly busy doing internships in a few NYC hospitals. But he made time for two PCA autocrosses and had a great time. Oh to be young again ;-)

    How is the 328?

The 328 is doing fine. I really don't get to drive it that much. Maybe 500 miles this past year. When I do drive it I miss it. I also have a couple of Porsches. A member of the PCA has been trying to get me to some events. With four kids its hard to do anything auto related. But during the summer, all my kids are in sleepaway camp, my wife and I will be doing more auto stuff. Its good to see that your son is enjoying the Porsche. When he pays off his loans, I'm sure that a 911 Turbo will be in his future.
