Pap--30,000 Posts

Pap, I started this thread in hopes that you would honor it with your 30,000th post. Seriously, though, 30,000 is insane. I think when you hit 100K we should fly you to America and throw a party. You bring the beer, though.

Are you going to sit at 29,999 for a day and half in anticipation, like you did with 19,999? (Amazingly it wasn't that long ago.)

 

That's like asking a fast moving express train to quickly switch tracks and stop at a tiny junction. If you are lucky you find PAP's 30120 post here. When he is on a rampage, the posts blast by at a rapid pace

Why, thank you. That pic actually doesn't show the leaks...they aren't that big, but they're there. It'll be turning 170K in a few days and it needs to last about 2 more years...we'll see. I might celebrate at 200K by turbocharging it.

That thread is funny. I was wondering if there wasn't another thread about Pap's 30,000th.

 

What the hell is the big deal? He's more than 1,500 posts away.

You do not understand. he is down under, in a mine, not alot to do. He can do that 1500 in about an hour.

 

Actually he's going to be a bit further when all the deleting is done. You see, someone feels it's necessary to take an extremely well liked, Ferrari owning enthusiast who traveled all the way from Australia to meet just about everyone in the southwest, Someone who has never stirred any controversy, someone who's aforementioned trip was partially facilitated by members here who chipped in just for the sake of camaraderie and fun, someone who has already been messed with in a very similar manner for absolutely no reason whatsoever.....

Someone is now in the process of deleting the (already year old) 1,2,3 & 4 word story threads from the Off-off-off-topic, backroom (meant to be fun?) subforum) because they feel like PAP is all of a sudden getting over on something that means nothing in the first place...

And what will there be to gain? Perhaps PAP will think it's funny and continue to enlighten, entertain and add life here or maybe he will just shake his head, say screw this and fade away....or perhaps nothing at all?


I hope we all learn something.

Don't let it piss you off PAP! Keep on trucking, or maybe just go for a drivein the 348 to put your spirits back on top. He still has the most posts of anyone on Fchat (by a fair margin).

I think it's very safe to say that Pap's esteemed status here at FChat now has nothing to do with the post count, but it's just because he's Pap.

Am I missing something?

 

So typical of today's society and pc'ers where the attitude is 'no one should be allowed to excel and mediocrity is the rule.' Pap you go on and do what you think is right, we all know they can never take it away from a guy who earned it.

 

Before they had forums like this, people with that much time, spent it either working or wacking off. Go figure.
