    Mark, my friend,
It is gorgeous! But again I am biased.
I hope to meet your friend (+ you and Katy) soon, perhaps during a tour south...

Very nice car. I like the red carpeting and the crema color arm rests/map pockets (usually they are the same color as the dashboard and door pulls). I'm sure your neighbor will enjoy it.

    Best regards,
    Dino

That trim combo is spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it.

I have red with black trim but would swap in a heartbeat for that red/crema combo.
Beautiful car well done to him.

Red carpets and crema leather - perfect.

Not sure what you call the exterior color but it's interesting. ;)

Yes, the cooling oil is part of the whole Ferrari soundtrack. I have a sample of it on my iPod.

that of course should have read "HIM wanting one" sorry for the typo

Eugenio, I hope Dehli is treating you well, I will be in your neighbourhood in the Summer but probably not for the Tuscany tour this Year, I think we will leave it for this Year and do it again in 2009, I will confirm dates to you. I am also down the road in Maranello in November to collect the 599, you need to be there, best regards :)

That's the first style arm rest and pulls. Later in 1987 they moved the door latch to the arm rest and made them and the map pockets black vinyl instead of leather.

Great looking car. Reminds me of my first 328 which was an 87 GTS with red carpets but tan instead of crema leather. I always have had a soft spot for the combo.

Steering wheel may be on the righteous side, but they drive on the wrong side of the road instead of the "right" side.

Great looking car, really like the way the tail pipes extend a little further out from the rear grill. After market exhaust?? Mine has the stock one and the pipes extend less than half that amount. Now hope he enjoys the ride.

The first time I saw red carpets in a 328, was an '88 red with black interior and red carpets. It was really nice looking and a big change from the all black interiors one usually sees. I love my red/ crema and red carpet '89 328.

Just a quick question, since the earlier cars do not have the door latch on the arm rest, where is the interior door latch? Also, I believe that cars with the optional leather dashboard had leather door pulls and map pockets...my dashboard, door pulls and map pockets are leather and the car has been in my family since new.

    Best regards,
    Dino

You have to know a secret code to get into early 328's! Just kidding. The latch is well hidden behind the door pull. Do you have documentation for leather dash like a window sticker. There are rumors it was optional but I have never seen or heard of one. If they are black, I'm guessing they are vinyl. the grain is a very close match.

    Ciao Mark.
Going offtopic a bit, I do not like Delhi a lot... :(
I hope to migrate to the States in a near future with Maura and the kids. I will be in Italy during Summer anyway, so perhaps we can meet (Orta?). Tuscany Tour seems to be in a dead end for me as well in this moment, but who knows?
And I WANT to be in Maranello in November :)

    Ciao

    Eugenio
