I just read that we have a 250 GTO in D.C. does the owner ever bring it to any meets or track days?

it is a "REBODIED" '59 250 PF coupe. And so far I believe it's only made an appearance at FOW.

last I heard, 3387 lived in New York. I don't track these cars, so maybe it is here now. I think 3445 lived here until about 2 years ago.

I saw a real 250 GTO at an FOW Party back in March 2004.
I only have one blurry picture of it at that FOW event (see below).
I believe it is the same GTO as in the 2nd pic.

Anyone know where this car is from?
I think I remember it is from somewhere in New York or Maryland.

    It is a beauty.

Actually now that I see the two pics side-by-side, I'm not sure it is the same GTO.
Although it could just be the color difference due to the camera used and the lighting.

I think it is this car:
    http://www.barchetta.cc/english/All.Ferraris/Detail/3445GT.250GTO.htm

This is from a list of GTO cars on this page:

This is the last owner entry for 3387 from Barchetta, I guess I will post in the Vintage section to see if it is really around here.

Also, it looks like the Barchetta page for the blue/yellow GTO says that serial number 3445GT was sold in July 2005 by Charles Arnott in Easton, MD to Christopher Cox in Chapel Hill, NC.

There's a GTO that lives in this area.

Maybe we can coax the owner to post here about it.

For a Ferrari guy, spending time up close and personal with a GTO is automotive nirvana. His was at the Reading FCA event a couple years ago.

I could only imagine seeing it at a track day, here is the post in the vintage section. It looks like no one is entirely sure where it is.

While we are on the topic the real one is pictured in the FoW 11/17 thread by someone who saw it a few years ago.

Car is out of the country. Charlie Arnott sold it to a collector in Europe in 2004. I actually got to ride in it.
