My 328 has a glove box with a lock. My 355 spider doesn't have any place to secure an item when the top is down. Can't leave anything in the car. Does anyone make a glove box for this spider?

The non air bag equiped cars had a glove box where the passenger air bag is on later air bagged versions. Check eBay UK and US, saw the cover lid but haven't seen the inner box or latching mech.

Can always try a salvage or breaker yard

There is a factory glove box option for the 355 ragtops.
It bolts between the seats on the rear upper shelf and is lockable.
    Its dimensions are quite small at 11 " wide x 7 " deep x 4" high.

The factory price is something crazy but I do see them on Ebay fairly regularly.
This box can also be installed in the hardtops as well and I did purchase one but have yet to install it.

Hmmm, spyders have a little tee tiny thingy on the rear firewall between the seats, but it is soooo small I wouldn't go so far as to call it a glove box....lol

Just stuff whatever you have behind the seat and place a jacket/newspaper on top. It is just as secure as some glove box. ;)

More like a pill box than a glove box!

My gloves fit in there fine...along with a FRS radio, spare batteries, flashlight, small first aid kit....and a few other things.

You also can't get to it with the boot on! Real useful!

That is why I prefer to throw stuff behind the seat and cover with a jacket or newspaper, it is faster to access, and larger space. Almost as secure too. ;)
