    Firstly, I realize this topic has been spoken about extensively but after reading most of the posts I still have a question. If I completely upgrade my system...i.e. compressor/dryer/evaporater with components designed for r134a will it blow as cold as the original r12 system?

    R134a will not be as cold as R12. Keep the R12 system.
