I don't know what game YOU watched but the one I watched SUCKED!! Nice game. I think we had this one too until we had a few unlucky breaks. Feels like we were the better team today. Just gave up those 2 INTs back to back. And then the punt block. To think we had a solid lead and had the ball on a 3rd and 2. Two penalties later and it is 3rd and 12. Then the wheels started to fall off.... Glad Callahan just got the boot. Hope Pelini gets it. Our Blackshirts will be back....
Well yea, other than that.... The game I watched had the officiating pretty equal. Some missed calls and no calls on each side. I knew the numbers on the Nebraska defense before the game but actually seeing how pathetic they are is amazing. I would have to think it's going to be tough for N to recruit after these past seasons. Amazing to watch some of the very well funded dynasties slide this year. It seems a long way from the days of watching N come in an kick CU's ass year after year.
I'll bet it does. You know, the recruiting has actually gone well. I expect 2 defections based on what I know. But you can bet there will be a few recruits that want to jump on board. Just hoping one Justin Thompson decides to follow his JUCO teammate to Lincoln. His teammate is the #1 rated JUCO in the country and committed to Tom Osborne after a meeting with him. He said "I don't care who the coach is. Tom Osborne will hire the right guy. I am committing to the program, not the coach." There will be more like him.....
