How do you know this?....You keep accusing others in here of not knowing the facts or at least you ask them how they could possibly know what they post. Yet you know of all this turmoil at Ferrari. The only turmoil I can see is if they get stupid an take on Alonshole in 2009. Again I have to admit that you sure look like the #1 tifoso on this site.

Andreas ,It takes two to tango! the truth we will never probably Know!! I dont believe it was ordered from high up in the Mc camp to start proceedings in aquiring Ferrari data, you cant right of the whole team by saying it was all Mclarens fault they paid a price a big one. I'am not saying it was right, it was as we have said all along disgruntled ferrari staff along with Mclaren staff trying to be clever and making a frickin hash of it dont forget it was Hondas door they went knockin. And now if by the standard that has been set Renault now are under the cosh what then chuck them out or let them of easy with a 100mil fine..

I agree they should face the consequences, but I don't think they got off light. Unless you believe their transgression in 2007 was the worst in the history of F1 and the worst in the history of all sports. Because the penalty certainly was the harshest in F1 history and the harshest in sporting history.

McLaren should have lost their WCC points, their drivers probably should have been docked points too. But the $100mm fine is just outrageous and a clear example (IMO) of a guy like Mosley who has no real concept of the seriousness of the punishment imposed. I don't think what McLaren did is something that hasn't happened many many times before, and hasn't happened in every single team at some point in the past, Ferrari included. I just think Max has a woody for Ron and he is also trying to establish his iron-fisted-ness. He did it with the ridiculous banning of Renaults mass damper. He did it with the overly harsh penalty against Honda for the fuel tank fiasco (which IMO was no more of a transgression than the Ferrari flexi-wing or the Ferrari flexi-floor). He did it at Indianapolis in 2005 by being such a stubborn SOB that he'd shoot himself in the foot just to make sure he didn't give an inch to anyone. Then shooting down McLarens appeal on a technicality is just more BS. Its never ending.

Let's see if Ferrari is handed the WCC for 2006 (as they should be, if Renault did indeed have posession of McLaren data, which appears to be an open-and-shut case since they readily admit it and Max said posession is enough to justify the penalties).

I am sure if they moved to the United States they would not be noticed!

If Renault is found guilty then they should have both WDC and WCC points taken from them for 2006 as well as turning over the prize money to the rightful winner.

Strange how these scandles follow Alonshole around. Another reason not to have him a Ferrari.

I agree with you and they should also get a $100m fine - agreed?

That would mean McLaren would get the 2005 WDC/WCC titles and Ferrari would get the 2006 WDC/WCC titles (giving Michael his 8th!)

That will never happen though. I bet Renault gets maybe a fine in the sub-$100k range, and some sort of warning.

    Its all BS.

At least I am not threatening to no longer support Ferrari if I don't agree with their driver selection...
