No kidding though, when the second turbo kicks in and those HUGE rear tires quit spinning and hook up to pavement, you'd better be pointing straight ahead......

Maybe some of these owners will share driving impressions......

Have you seen Big George Foreman's F40 since you worked upon it? A freind visited him recently and showed me pics of the car looking especially shiny...

    Dear Graham,

I have just finished my lunch which was quite delicious - a tuna sandwich and a cup of Earl Grey Tea.

I think there are some here aspire to be armchair car specialists. Trading cars can be tricky business during value fluctuations. But what do I know? Im just a rookie hoping to learn the ropes one day. We must ask Jas for guidance here. LOL.

You should note that a second F40 does not have to be a street car and it can be an LM for fun on the track. Also note that many cars were purchased a long time ago and have remained unused in storage. It just seems with the car's 20th Anniversary there is renewed interest in the model and hence the "coming out" of certain stored cars... perhaps. Ive said too much already.

So Graham, when are you going to possess that dedicated track LM you have always promised yourself?

No idea where Big George goes, now that JRVs gone...if he'd keep fresh fuel in it, he'd be okay.....he had tried to start it on 2 year old fuel and had ruined some stuff...had to clean all the injectors and replace the CAT unit......

More amusing was him missing the door strike entirely on his Lambo Spyder doors....darn things were wedged shut, missing the lock entirely, forced outward from normal position...it took about two days to get it back open! LOL!

Not ME working on anything, I was just hanging around after work making sure my lil' padner didn't get stuck in there, and need help getting back out! LOL!

Truthfully Joe, I think all the nut cases that built them into the Living Room expecting "gazillion percent' appreciation have finally sobered up, or died, and the offspring want the cash for trip to Bermuda.........

Dear Comrade Big Tex and erstwhile Speedy 308,

You won't get another chance at one of these delectable F-40's. Joe already has two, I'm to get another, 410SA has got three (I think) . . . . RufMD has one which he doesn't use but is sure to get another so that he can use it for visiting patients. So, just think about it for a moment and you will immediately become aware that there is certain to be a world shortage within six months or even less. This will have a frightful impact upon prices and some say that the F-40 will be at eight hundred thousand dollars by the end of next year. Remember, you read it here first. Furthermore, India, China and Taiwan are expanding exponentially. Russia has thousands of wealthy oligarchs. New markets are emerging by the minute. So buy the F40 now while they are still cheap, for you won't see these prices again.

    With kind regards,

    512 Tea Are

    Dear Comrades,

Mister Sackey is Fchat's Simon Cowell. Not an insult, just an observation.

FYI, Mr. Sackey per FBI records, has had his teeth whitened 4 times since 1987, the last job was done with UV light and reflectors made from Antarctic Baby Seals.

Ill take the Cowell reference as a compliment.

BTW I think the FBI's record-keeping is worse than that of Automobili Lamborghini SpA in the 70s. LOL.

Joe....I have to say, that picture of you in the Muira bears a striking resemblance to a Mr. Alex Roy of Gumball fame.

I think it's the glasses though.

When I have just ONE F40 I'll take a better shot. Although I do have a Jalpa in the garage....I think that entitles me to get away with this one :)
