Dont mean to hijack this thread, but im in the same boat right now. would 40k be enough for a solid QV? 40k just for the price of the car, not including maintenance? That seems to be in the ballpark at least...

40K for a solid QV that needs nothing isn't too bad really, considering the current market and all.

I think your in there but don't see just look at your state search all over their out there, just be patient,I now it's not easy when you have the money in hand and ready to buy,I was there last month and everyday I posted threads asking everyones thoughts, right Dr.tommy, rifledriver, and everyone else who put up with me,thanks guys I did make it and I think I did good, and that ppi was important to,so figure on spending $500 on that, don't go by waht someone said or did get a pro

in one line it says pulled motor to paint? then in another line it says near perfect original paint, which is it,how many miles,is service documented with papers and pictures? why haven't you filled out your bio if you have all those great cars, I would ,I wish I had that 430sp,but I couldn't afford the maint. on that one, good luck Izzo,If you get that price that would mean I've made 7k in just one month,we need to keep all the qv up in price

I dont fill out my bio because I'm more of a private person. My challenge Car is Dark Blue # 4, stop by and see me at Cavallino at one of the track days, I'll show you the the F40 etc. It's a nice one ! Also , it's original exterior paint and the motor has fresh paint.

Who else than the owner, Ciro Izzo to describe his car. I must of complimented him 100 times on his car when I saw it. The car is gorgeous and sounds great. He you can really tell he takes pride in his cars. Being a newbie, I am trying to get as much information and opinions that I can. From what I have seen in my 6 month search, this car is the best all around 308. just my opinion. The engine had been repainted, but the body paint is original. He has all the maintenance paperwork since 1993.

    Still working on the wife.

well, that clears that up about the painting,I can see taking out the engine to paint it,but 42k for the car I think thats high but thats up to the buyer to decide

I agree...it is high but that 's what it will take for me to part with it, I bought it when I was 24(39 now). Enjoy your car Mike , hope to see you at one of the Ferrari events.

Will the 308 GTSi cars be considered classics after 40 years? Prugna color? I am only thinking of selling my 1984.
