PS I reckon close to £65K + many hours of heartache. Good luck to the new owner, i personally couldn't do it unless it was in addition to mine. To impatient to drive it!!![/QUOTE]

Impatient....... How do you think i feel. I bought my car around three years ago. Old owners delivers it to my house ....I drove it up the drive (75 Mts) with the kids in it... Once more with the wife in it..... drove it into the garage and started humming and harring... took a few bits off it....then i just couldnt help myself.... Totally dismantled it!! Its still in a zillion bits and i would give my left b***ock to drive it, but i can wait another year... or two.........three maybe?
Sh*t i'm going to bed....to count Dinos........ Night all.

Tony, You would be MORE than welcome only thing is, the actual body is 6 miles up the road in a bodyshop ( and has been for almost 2 years!!!) they only use my car as a hospital job and it's actually been in primer for two months and masked up ready to top coat since then. The masking tape will be a sod to get off! they tell me that it will be painted next month but i wont get my hopes up. Rest assured i shall be parading the photos on here as soon as this occurs and you will be more than welcome to come see. In fact i have as yet to get down your way to see if this spanner you have fits the rear hub nuts.
    Regards, Graham.

    Holy ****.

Needs what, another $100K to get it to the finish line?

Time to reconsider selling mine if that's the going rate.

i think it is interesting that the car is here and the seller has two numbers to reach him at, one for french and one for english. i think this is a case of someone realising that the weak dollar my lead to a better sale overseas than here in the us

Also interesting to note that the ad lists the car as a 1972 model but in fact it is an "L" series car which would be no later than October 1970. As for the price, I recommend the current owner lay off the Georgia moonshine and finish the car himself if he hopes to get anywhere near 100K Euros. Sheesh.
