    Car ('80i) has a small exhaust leak that goes away when warm. Finally got the car on a jack and some stands and got under to take a look. Turns out one of the bolts is missing (WTF???). Thread looks ok so does stud so i don't know what happened. What size bolt is this??? I'm gonna try to put a new one on.

    Do i need a washer? what kind?

    My mechanic just put a new nut on and exhaust leak is gone.

    Life is good..for now
