Just wanted to post that there is something called Holiday laps
at Virginia International Raceway on Dec 7 2007 from 8am to 12 noon.
If you bring an unwrapped toy valued at $25.00 you get to drive the
full course.
It's a controlled event with a pace car pretty much safe laps.

I've done it 3 years in a row with friends from work. Its a fun event.
Lots of different cars and bikes (bikes do their own laps). You ducati boys
would like it, they let you guys have the track without a pace car.

Oh yeah, and you get one free 8x10 professional photo of you and your car/bike
on the track.

I talked to a member of the VIR club, he said morning but may be he was
