I put the 348 up on the lift today and removed my rear wheels to install my spacers I got from Goth. There is a bunch of under coating in my rear wheel wells and all over my rear subframe. The wheel well liners are fiberglass, so why gook them up? I removed the liners and scraped for hours, and scraped some off of the frame too. The car probably lost 10lbs. Who under coated the car? Ferrari? The dealer? I'll remove more and more of this stuff everytime I put the car up, but this stuff is resiliant.

The sub-frame *will* rust without it.

My BMW had cosmaline. This is much thicker. Maybe cosmaline is what is on the frame. But the stuff on the fender linings was like asphalt. The pressure washer didn't get it off, I had to scrape with a putty knife. Made a very simple job take all day.
