I've just come across a cheap pair of good 360 heads.
I guess there's no chance they would graft onto a 308 type block is there?
I must have been reading too much of Mark's 308 V12 conversion thread..........

Marks had another thread about ....355 heads (I think they are about the same as the 360) on a QV :)

I never did it, but I think the consensus was they the studs at least fit, so that wold save you 3 weekend and counting of work right there.

"I tried a 360 head and block with a 308 head gasket today.

It's really close to going straight on... would need to block off one oil drain passage on the 360/355 Head, and cut a hole in the gasket for an oil way.

Plus, the 308 gasket bore hole is 1mm smaller than the 360 Bore... but that's easy to fix....

Guys, 355/360 Heads on a 308 block is very doable... but I'd still prefer to put the whole 355/360 Engine on a 308 gearbox."

Thanks Mark. I found this quote on the thread you indicated from 'Ferrarifixer' (Now banned - whatever did he do? 8000+ posts too...)
I've been away for the day and I have probably talked myself out of getting the heads.
If any one else is interested they're on ebay, buy it now 500 Euros, but no bids and open to offers

Their either hoping people will bid them up, or their overheaded oxidised POS salvage heads.

or they don't have them at all....that a pretty common ebay scam. They list something cheap so you really want it, then "oh; it not here I made a mistake in the listing, it's in "(some place far from you)", but I'll pay th shipping" I always tell them I have a cousin who lives right there, and matter where it is, who will stop by with the money and pick it up :)
