    I have a new Spider inbound which came out of the factory on November 6, 2007. Delivery is supposed to be the end of December. Anyone want to speculate on whether this car will be an '07 or will it be an '08? Dealer says they don't know and won't until the invoice gets to them which is usually a few days before the car actually shows up.

    And, your dealer should know by looking up the car in their system.

    Your dealer should know that if the car has been completed in 07 its an 07. Completed in 08 its an 08.

    This is no longer the case. For example 2006 F430s were still being produced in Jan and Feb of 2007. The dealer knows if it is a 2007 or 2008 by looking in their computer.

    My dealer says Ferrari doesn't do model years. Are they lying? If so, what are the differences for 08 model year?
