an original window sticker

since a "build sheet" is out of the question, does anyone know how to get an original window sticker?

 

I would think that would be harder.

I've been able to get build sheets on cars that I couldn't get window stickers for.

 

what do you mean? a reproduction of the window sticker for your car? or just any window sticker. i think i have mine for a 328.

Back when I owned a 348 Spider I e-mailed FNA and asked for a window sticker and they mailed me one a few days later free of charge...it was an "original" so to speak with my car's VIN, color, options ect... and even had the sticker-backing to affix to the window. FNA can print them off at will. I included it with the car when I traded it even for my current BB512i...

 

Would love to have one for my car---anyone have the email for FNA??

I called 201 816 2600 the main number and they will direct you to the proper person. I called yesterday.

Oh, and there's this thing called Google, maybe they don't have that in the woods, but its a pretty helpful internet tool! LOL!

Just got a call back from Arthur----Ferrari has no way of obtaining a copy of the original window sticker---He told me a build sheet is obtainable from any Ferrari dealer. The car has to be brought into the dealer, they inspect it, take pictues and forward that info to Italy----Can only imagine what the costs of that is...

 

its worth framing for that fact alone... lol

I've been e-mailing for at least a month trying to get a windows sticker on my Spider.

No luck.

 

I just got the same answer from someone else in the sales dept at FNA.

 

They can still do it ... if they wanted to

NO DOUBT!!!!! I am so sure they just never keep any of the records on these vehicles! I gave the original dealer a call and they are checking the records, pretty sure they may have one.

I have the one on my TR but not on my 328. On the TR I even have a photocopy of the cashiers check used to purchase the car new.

 

I have the original for mine as well. $126K was a chunk of change back in late 94!

 

Sticker on mine was $175,000 actual selling price was $135,000 Like Al Pacino said in Scent of A Woman. "The 80's are over. These things aren't flying out the door."

 

I have the window sticker for my '76 GTB. The sticker is hand-written on Griswold Motors of Berkeley window sticker paper. There is an Alfa Romeo logo and I believe a Ferrari logo. IIRC, the price says $37k. Will try and scan it and post. Guess they did not have official Ferrari window stickers back then.

 

I called Lake Forest Ferrari to see if they still had the original or a copy, nice guys, they actually checked, but alas, no luck! Oh well, more important things to worry about, would have been nice though.
