I cant decide the better forum..so sorry for cross posting in the race forum too....but.....

I finally got around to making a short movie (at the request of many out there) of my experiences in a Ferrari 360 Challenge during the 2000 season. Here are the highlights..which is mostly the wild and crazy stuff that makes for good home movies...

enjoy!! as 2001 season movie is underway!

Awesome videos. You have lived my dream.

That steering wheel sure does move around a lot on some of those straights.

Hey Ron... definitely looks like a lot of fun. Must have been a total blast to run at Indy... even in the rain. Nice job missing that guy with the rear spoiler :)
    Thanks for posting the video.

WOW!!! Excellent footage thanks soooooo much!!!!!!! Seems to be a re-occurring theme of passing the yellow and then silver car! LOL!
How cool was it to race at Indy!!!!!! Probably could have done without the rain!

Then racing in the mother land, what an experience! Did you get to meet anyone high up in the food chain when visiting Italy??

Thanks again sooooo much, man I wish I could afford to race in the challenge series. Thanks for allowing me to live vicariously thru you for a while!

Thanks! During 2000 almost all the yellow cars were from Ferrari of Washington. Almost all had identical graphics...so almost the same yellow car each time. Same as the silver as those were all from Ferrari of Houston.

During the Mugello Finalle, Michael Schumacher came in and talked to all the drivers. Even the 50-60 of us couldnt hold back for long...as soon as 1 driver asked for an autographed, it was a rock concert crush for everyone to get them. I had my Mugello passes signed as well as my Grand Am license.

Great vid. I'm guessing that the other guys where slowing down to let you by? :) Just kidding. Was that Steve Earle in the Silver 355?

A question for you. How do you edit these vids? My reason for asking is that I just got mine from the Skippy MX-5 school at Laguna, and I'd love to shorten it a bit. Caution, I'm a complete klutz when I comes to computers so hopefully editing a vid is not too challenging (sic).

Steve Earle is seen only at the 48 sec ->59 sec...as its his car on fire. If you are talking about the 355 at Indy, that was Christian Briggs who spun in the raid..actually that was him in the clip ealier too at Indy spun around turn 5.

The hardest pass in the video was at the 5:55 mark passing JD Williamson II. I dropped 2 wheels off in the kink to pass him and held my breath and hoped for the best.

The video is uploaded into Windows XP and edited using Microsofts Windows movie maker. Took all of about 15 mins to figure out!

    Thanks everyone for your comments!

Interesting comment, I hear so many people so great things about VIR. I really need to get down there in the spring, its about 2 hours for me.
Sad they have taken VIR off the list of races this coming year!
