    Search this site for the baton info, every country they went to threw a big Ferrari gathering.......dunno where it was here in USA I didn't see it.

    You can buy the baton from Ferrari and Puma offers a T shirt series with the icons from it by decade, so there's a fifties shirt, a 60's shirt etc.......

    Here's the V8 engine Icon I liked it.....

    I think the last place I should take my girlfriend is to IW Marks, but I may go to hang out and so she can meet some of you that I have talked about.

    Well, there will be food and drinks. Not sure what kind of drinks, but I remember for the Damiani event last year we had an actual bar tender instead of the regular wine and champagne for the other functions. Miss Texas will also be there. It should be fun.
    As for girlfriends and wives who aren't into cars, there are lots of things to look at in order to entertain them while you all shoot the breeze :p
    As far as I know, there is only the print advertising and invitations that have been sent out. Although, I did see this small article [link]http://www.prleap.com/pr/102176/[/link] talking about it. According to the article, that's when G. Damiani will be making his "Persona Appearance."
    If any of you have any questions please ask, and I'll do my best to find the answer if I don't already know it offhand.

    Leigh just PM me some prices and it looks like this ring can cost as much as half of a carrera GT itself! If I had a choice between a diamond or a CGT, CGT all the way! Women....I'll never understand.

    We like shiny objects, and I don't mean crumpled up foil or something like that.
    A 5ct diamond is HUGE!!! We have them, though. We have items for every taste. For Halloween I even bought a necklace from the store that spelled "HOT" downward with the "OT" forming the female symbol. We have many, many things from tasteful to tacky to gaudy and downright obscene. The last big one I sold was a 3.41ct Oval, and that was incredibly big. A 5ct diamond...that's just bragging :p ...it'll last longer than a car, though.

    Good point, about the diamond lasting longer!! LOL!

    Yea, at 5 carats you might as well tie an ice cube to your finger!

    I doubt they'd even cut one that large into a round ring setting, most likely have to go emerald square cut, IMO.
    Or a shape suitable for a necklace.

    Yes, that is correct. Every year, for the last 2 years, we have had a Damiani trunk show. Last year the main attraction was an over the top necklace that has been worn by Sophia Loren, a Mexican actress at the Oscars, and yours truly. The necklace also converts into a tiara. This year, the main attraction will be the Ferrari 60th Anniversary Relay Baton. They talked about it last year, and then we didn't hear anything about it again for months, and now here it is. I'm more excited about the jewelry, personally :p I hope that blue wave necklace I saw on the website will be here...really hoping for that one.

    As for Rolex trade-ins, I'm afraid not ^^; No trade-ins. But Brad, Daniel, and everyone else with power in the store will be here, so if any sort of deals will be made on certain models, tomorrow is the time to ask.

    Is there a certain dress code for this event?

    Not sure how long we can stay out so wemay head out there a little earlier around 5:30PM. Hope this is ok...
