Bummer! Here I in the O.C. wearing a polo and shorts, crystal clear and I think I might have to get a Starbuck's later to keep me awake. It's tough living in So Cal.
I thought that is why you got a Carrera 4. If it makes you feel any better, I saw a Z06 in the last snowfall in Fort Collins and he was doing alright! And I am with Phil, just pull out the skis.
You can keep your over-priced land. Your earthquakes. Your wildfires. Your mudslides. Heck, the natural disaster list could stretch from here TO California. Me? I'm fine with snow, it's b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l
That's ok, let it snow all year since its coming to L A at some point. Don't forget we stole your water a long time ago and still are doing it.
Considering the fact that your 308 is a well balanced mid-engined car with a limited slip differential you may find that it handles the snow very well. Mine did. I would offer you my set of high-speed tire chains but I let them go to the new owner in April.
James, I changed my avatar just for you...it's no Ferrari but here's a bit of ispiration Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm not a big skier (which lends itself to a strange story as to how I ended up in Colorado). Never-the-less, I wonder if you could fit those racks on the back of a 308? I wonder if someone would be so bold as to fit them on a 308! I'm going to have to buy snow tires for my car, I miss driving it too much to let it sit. I havent driven it in 2 whole weeks and I'm jonesing...... James in Denver
Don't worry. The longest I ever had to let a Ferrari sit when I was on the front range was 3 weeks, and that was rare. We now have 3 feet on the ground here in BV and it's snowing now. Fortunately, I drove the Ferraris early last week, looks like it could be quite a while before I drive them again. Dave
Funny video of fellow fchatter "lambojoe" (previously ferrarijoe) on a run last year in his 360: http://youtube.com/watch?v=FW6dZFwegnE
Oh the C4 is my daily driver and drives great in the snow. BUT I STILL HATE WINTER! The cold, the snow, did I say the cold! Plus it wasn't much fun switching out the MAF after work today. At this point global warming can't come fast enough. Also I don't ski. I went once and learned very fast that snow is not soft.
Can't believe you drive your C4 in the snow. I have a TTS and it won't see snow. Mag sulfate does wonders for the finish. The 328 is just going to sit there until it clears but Moab sounds good for now.
A lot of the water we send downstream comes from our flushing toilets up here in the Upper basin states. Enjoy.
It's only fair. The water comes to Colorado in the form of water vapor from the Pacific via California so we return it slightly used. We have a Toto but I understand Kohler and American Standard work well indeed. Gotta flush now.
The solution to pollution is dilution. I remember kayaking on the upper Colorado and one of the best ways to um, well, you know was strait into the river.
That's ok. We use it to irrigate the fruit and veggies we then send to you. Don't forget to clean your plate.
