    I have the SMG tranny in my M5 and do agree that it is faster and more modern then a stick shift. If I planned to track this car I would have ordered the F1. Iam looking for that traditional feeling of running thru the gears and there is nothing better then doing the perfect downshift and reving the motor just right. I also love to rest my hand on the gear shift waiting to change gears.

    Hi sam, I'm with you all the way. I had F1 for quite a while ago and came back with 6 Speed. This mainly just a personal taste. Plus Red, Tan and open top, you are on top of the world. From the pics, I saw Adam/Auto gallery sales, he is a great guy to work with.

    That 430 spyder is one heck of a car. I had a 360 and a 355 and the 430 is a head and shoulders above both the cars. It is a beast. Glad you like it.

    Although I have a love for the F1, I will admit there are reasons to love a regular stick, but people who say a person with a regular stick is a real driver is being absurd cause like I said to each their own. I too loved being able to rev the engine before take off, that is one thing I miss. But as far as up shifts and down shifts, it's all the same, just less body work and faster shifts in the F1. Sorry for being off topic guys.

    To me a real driver is just someone that loves cars and loves to drive no matter what the vehicle is. When Adam was showing how to use the car he said I was a gearhead. I will take that as someone that wants a Ferrari because it is the ultimate car experience and not just something to cruise down Rodeo drive in. I was at a party last night and the word was out that I had gotten a new toy. A couple of guys asked what I got since I already had the Turbo and the M5. I just asked them what was left to get. You could see the light go off in their head and the words Ferrari come out of their mouth. I think that says it all when it comes to drivers.

    No matter how many times I see pictures on the net or how many F430's I see on the street , I find something else to love about that car!!!
