The baton is huge! Holy cow. I will definitely not be holding it tonight. It's nearly half my height. Dress code--it'll be a mixture since there will be regular customers as well as Damiani people. It'll be anything from jeans to dresses and fur coats. You can wear whatever you'd like, but there will be people there who are a bit over the top. I'll be in a dress--a rarity for me. *^_^*
Yo! I am gonna put on the dog with a suit and shades...it's still a little warm for my Coyote fur stroller don't you think??? Look for a red Ferrari sponsored by Saint Arnold's Brewery, and save me a snack! Bachelors don't eat very well, you know.......that's why we die so young......
I'll bring a camera, but I may not be there until around 6:30ish....my girl is running late (as usual!) someone reserve me a parking space
It was awesome! Thank you so much to everyone who could come. I hope you all had a good time. I had fun I'd even go so far as to say it was worth my efforts in putting on makeup, shoes with a strap (they made me change my normal shoes), and a dress (all of which occur MAYBE twice a year), but it was well worth it...even if I never did get to finish it (the makeup, that is--I was putting it on, and then a customer came)... To Alan and Jeremy, I'm so sorry I didn't get to see you two off; I went to get food and then got side tracked when I saw the avocado eggrolls. I love those. *^_^*
It's ok.... my wife is amazing and she deserves it! This was her Christmas gift and she wanted it. I'll take a picture of it. They only made 50 of these pieces so I'm considering it an investment! I did get a Damiani Limited Edition Ferrari Keychain with a diamond in it. It looks awesome! ....well I'm off to Dubai!
See that? There is a good man right there. He was the one telling Jan she should get it--she was the one who hesitated. And that keychain is awesome. No one else here has that, and they were very limited in production. And, Randy, half the people who work here were drooling over those cars. I've never seen them stand outside for so long. They talked about the Gallardo more than anything else. I never even got to see anything outside of the store. It was cold out there and dark. I can't see in the dark after working over the microscope all day with the light in my eyes. I'm sure they were all awesome. I'll post pictures (the few I have) on flickr most likely. I don't think I can put pictures on here. I know it told me I wasn't authorized to have an avatar on here, so I doubt I can put up pictures *^_^*
you can post up a few pictures, but it is limited. avatars are for subscribed users, and the same goes for unlimited pictures. flickr links will not work on here, but tinyurl links will. (hint hint)
Paper City was there and took a TON of pics ...look for it in there.. And I'd like a shot of me and Mr. Damiani, Leigh, if it came out.....hopefully it did.. Ms. Texas was very nice..........tall...... You know you are going to TOO MANY Ferrari Parties when the Italian Consolate recognises you on site.......LOL! Are you supposed to call them some special Title, like a judge or something....??????
So where are the event photos? My sister was in the shopping center when it was being set up earlier that day, if i had known I would have told her to stick around & look for Big Tex.
Dunno...Leigh?????? Paper City is a local newspaper ....I get it at the Apartment Offices...dunno if they have a website. I don't take the pics, brudda, I AM the pics...LOL!
I'll put up the ones I have, but I still have my microbiology final tomorrow. Finished my differentiation of syndromes final today. After finals, I'll put them up...not sure how many there are, though. I took a few. *^_^*
Thanks Roro, you da man! Hopefully Leigh will post hers once her school and the Holidays calm down some........ I know she took several....
I'm back, and I don't have that many pictures. Apparently, most of the pictures I took that night were with the cameras of other guests who were there. Here are the lonely 5 I have up so far. http://tinyurl.com/2lgd4b I need to cut up the pictures of the baton I took close up--the files are HUGE, so I'll have to do that after pathology. I hope you all like the pics so far *^_^*
