Watching the 700k stream now. Looks fantastic. It seems Schumacher beat Bourdais and will be facing Mattias Ekstrom in the final. I won't post that result. Watch now! MS is wearing a very unusual "icm" branded race suit. Apparently it is the spine institute he supports. Here is the map of the venue for anyone curious: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=HA90WS(Race+of+Champions+2007+%40+Wembley+Stadium)
Welcome to the club. I tuned in just in time for the live web stream to stop -- right after running those annoying login ads again. (I did catch the earlier Nations' Cup coverage, but windoze/IE crashed a couple of times on it. And it doesn't work right with Firefox on Unix.) (I ran a virus scan after, and SAV found that java "download" virus zip again. Not sure if it came from the video site, but I always scan after running anything that uses activex.)
Just got home, great day out at the ROC. Better not say the final result in case anyone hasn't seen it and recorded it but a thrilling final race. Excellent tribute to Colin McRae as well.
Looks like Speed TV updated their schedule. Those slots are now listed as a SEMA show coverage plus a road test of a Toyota Land Cruiser, not the ROC. Once again, "Speed" TV only refers to the "Speed" with which they're driving away viewers. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. This rape of the coverage has got to be an active attempt to corrupt the channel format. Tune in next year for "hybrids review" and "bus schedules of the nation". Something like running pro wrestling on the SciFi channel (another channel Fox is taking into the crapper).
