    Review:

Pretty good movie, overall, but the ending was kind of overdone. He really didn't have to die.

    How about everyone else?

I would have been pretty upset with this thread if I hadn't already seen this and the original. Add "spoiler" to the title.

It gets bitten by the crazy dogs, and when Will Smith tries to save it, he just ends up killing it.

Real nice move giving away the ending.

I'd be PO'd too if I hadn't seen it last night. Movie was very good, but they could have given a little more backstory for what lead up to him being the only one left in NY.

I had read one review that said "how can he be a legend if he is still alive and the only human alive", a legend in his own mind? Anywho I have not seen the movie yet but I like Will although I'll most likely wait for the DVD to comeout.

Saw it last night. I thought it was good. They played alot on the characters mind set and dealing with being the only person left. I was half expecting from the racing mustang scene, to the tricked out M4's, some kind of action setup and zombie killing frenzy. They went a different way with it and I was very happy about that. I think Will Smith has some incredible talent ... but he can't sing for **** hehehe! The part where Sam died was pretty heart felt the way they dragged it out so long. I immediately went home and hugged my dogs for like 20 minutes.

I was happy. Surprisingly as well, no one made a sound in the theatre nearly the entire movie other than clapping at the title screen after the first segment, and applauding at the end of the film, which I totally agreed with.

Bonus was seeing Dark Knight's preview, and I think Heath Ledger's gonna get some props for his work there, and seeing another Cloverfield trailer. I have NO idea what it's about but I'm buying an opening show ticket.

Read the novel. The title of the story has a certain backwards approach to normal myths.
+1. The silence & emptiness really helped set the film as well.

I dont get applauding after a movie. who is being applauded, its not like the director is there.

Loved the movie though. Really eerie to see NYC completely empty.

Haha, I never understood why people applaud after a movie either. Noone from the movie is there... most likely, to hear you.

**Spoiler** is not readable in the thread title on the main page of FChat. The title is too long. **spoiler** should be in the front part of the title.

Totally sucky, this is the only movie I have been looking forward to in quite some time.

I really didnt enjoy the movie, i liked how Andrew described it.
I was really just going to see The Dark Knight Prologue, i thought that 7 minutes was better than the entire movie. :D :)

Pretty much every movie to hit the theaters in the past few years has sucked.

Hollywood must use the same ice/glass dealer Britney Spears patronizes... they are BAKED out of their heads & losing focus big time.

Why waste time arguing about such crap - bring back the films from decades past.
