OK, I give up, just spent 20 minuites on the new improved version of the ferrari owner's site: http://www.ferrariowners.com/ futially trying to find a way to link to the Maranello Concessionares site (aka Ferrari.uk). If it's there, I haven't a clue how to find it, Even the site map doesn't give a way to link!!! Tried Maranello's Ferrari Parts site: http://www.ferrariparts.co.uk/ However, it still just links to the Ferrari owner's site.
I just got a email announcing the new site. They were good about emailing back status as they reworked the site. But, when trying to access it took forever. Then when trying to register, I was unsuccessful, the page would never load. What's going on with this site? Jeff
No luck here also. No link to the UK parts site work. Its like it fell off the earth. Sent a query to owner's site several days ago, but no reply. Its been like that for at least a week, wouldn't hold much hope until after the holidays - it is Italy, after all. Tom
Hello from Germany, I think the spare parts link to Ferrari UK will come again. Because; just type in ' spare parts ' in the small search field on the main page and you will get some results of which one is 'spare parts - service and information '. When you click that link you will be led to the page where they talk about ' ....a link on this site, which will lead you to Maranello Concessionaires'. Problem is; this link is still missing. Best Regards and Merry Christmas ( holidays are in summer Martin
They do seem to be good at replying, just takes awhile for them to get back to you. Must be they're still working on the sites. I registered and it's been 3 days, still not enabled to access the site. Jeff
I know what you mean Verell. I think I clicked on every link on every page looking for it one day. Never did come up with it though. Hopefully they'll get it back on there soon.
Jeff; it's Christmas and over here in Europe, most folks are off from work since last weekend, because the 24th is the 'most important' day of christmas for most folks in Europe ( holy night ). Is the 24th a full working day in the US ? Best Regards from Germany Martin
Yes. The USA has very few true holidays. It sucks compared to Europe!! I am starting to wonder if Ferrari UK is no longer in business! Birdman
I will dig out my FOC newsletter from Nov/Dec 2007 and from memory it said the owner of Maranello Concessionaires (the parts web site etc) has been closed and sold to Lancaster Ferrari. This is all from memory and will confirm later. I think this explains the disjointed links as they are now seperate companies.
I'm pretty sure UK Classic Parts in Egham became a joint venture between SPA & Inchcape who have just sold their half to Graypaul which is part of Penske so there is no reason for the link to be down or discontinued - its probably just not there yet - I hope as its very useful
I sent them an inquiry the other day regarding this issue and got a reply yesterday, which told me, that Ferrari is closed until 7th January due to christmas vacation. After that they will revert. Best Regards from Germany Martin
Martin, At least you got I reply. I emailed them and got nothing. Not even a lousy, "Outta Office until...." Hey, where in Germany do you live? I live in Nord Bayern. mwr4440
Mark, I live in the outer southwest at the french border. We already had some conversation in the past regarding your ignition leads. Best Regards Martin
What Verell and others myself included are looking for is PARTS! I been having problems for over a month trying to get their viewer to download so I could view Parts Manuals which are not online at the Owners nor http://www.ferrarigenuine.com/FerrariGenuine/index.jsp Stephen
Hi, have you tried the eurospares site? at least it gets you to the parts manuals, be it somewhat elaborate .... http://www.eurospares.co.uk/index.asp
There's got to be a click thru to FerrariUK Classic Parts, although there has been some concern that the new Classiche Department was going to take that huge inventory of pre -1982 car parts BACK to Italy! Anyone know? I have only logged in once since the "New Look' too busy right now to learn anything 'new'......LOL!
Actually his answer was for my post about not being able to find the documents section and he was right!! I still don't see a way to get to parts though.
Hello all, like already mentioned; 'normal life' will return in Europe NOT earlier than from 7th January on. Most folks - and Ferrari too - are in their christmas holidays. Many true holidays during these days. Two and a half day around christmas, New Years Day. Epiphanies ( 6th Jan. ), which this time is a Sunday, but otherwise also a work free day in some regions. So don't hold your breath for any news regarding the Ferrari website during the next two weeks. Best Regards from Germany Martin
