I don't know if this is a repost or not, but some nice track footage in this short video.
I don't speak German, so I can't comment on the first few minutes of discussion in the video.

It is a very nice looking Dino 206s, red with gold wheels.

I was trying to learn more about the racetrack, but its website is in German also.

If it is a repost, then please ignore. I did a few searches here on fchat and didn't find anything else similar.

Simply because, on the Barchetta page for Dino 206S #006 (Yes - and we accept that Barchetta is riddled with mistakes ), it says:

    1) 68 dnf Knutstorp Diedens - driven into a small river and badly damaged and

    2) 9-/early - restored with a new chassis, body and engine

.... but then I was thinking that it might also be s/n 016 ....
.... which it more closely resembles (race N° 103; lots of SFHC stickers and non-period windshield-mounted rear view mirror).

See: http://www.barchetta.cc/english/All.Ferraris/Detail/Dino/016.206S.htm (Noting the quote from Egon Hofer):
    and: http://www.barchetta.cc/All.Ferraris//events-stories/events/2007/rallye-races/lm-story/lm-story-gallery-04/103-wramell-1.html (image below)

Of course, neither of the above to be confused by the ex-Bryn Williams 206S replica, at times campaigned by David Piper (et alia) ....
.... which also apparently has FIA papers  !

No matter, Boudewijn. ;) Given any excuse to post a few photos of these delightfully pretty little cars.* :)

So is the 206S replica in your post the same car as the ex-Bryn Williams 206S replica ? Or another one ?

*P.S. You missed adding that rear view shot, Boudewijn. Vrolijk kerstfeest

Well...in front of me I have a magazine " BILSPORT December 1994" including an article with some pictures...telling sn006 was totally restorated by Jens Hansen from Båstad in Sweden...

    Staffan. I'm still confused.

I've just watched the YouTube video again.
Between 00:18 and 00:35, Lars Wramell is obviously relating the story of s/n 006's unfortunate 'dunking' at Knutstorp in '68 ....
.... but the car that he is stood in front of, and then proceeds to reel off a couple of demonstration laps in, is clearly s/n 016.

Could you please clarify exactly what connection he is making in the video. Thanks ! :)

    Well Paul.
Lars Wramell clearly says this is the car that Gustav Dieden planted in the "small river". (should be #006 then). He says the car ever since is called "Bäckabilen" (small river car)...and that the small river is called "Dieden River".
He also talks about Ferraris problems with producing the number of cars to have it classified. He then goes on talking about Porsche coming with their "Carrera Six" and the 206S had no chance competing with it. He also mension that the 206S is a fragile car and in fact not very fast.
From what I understand he is all the time talking about #006
Have I missed something here? why is it you say that the car he is driving around Knutstorp is #016?

    Best Regards: Staffan

Hint: Look again at the car in the YouTube video, Staffan. ;)

Thanks for the clarification, Peter. :)

(I was also getting confused by the fact that both cars also have appear to have identical red-painted roll cages fitted. )
