Advice needed on my eBay ad...

Okay, the time has come. I'm letting my baby go... and for a steal compared to where I bought into the game

Don't take it personally. The Brotherhood has been amazing! I plan on returning as soon as I can! But for now...

Honest description, pictures, pictures, alot of pictures, a youtube video of the car the with a cold start, and a running video.

Price it right, and the car will sell

 

and of course lots of maintenance details (hopefully not a $28k major bill to scare off prospective buyers!)

Be as descriptive as possible, and as many pics, and detail the entire ownership. Even if you do have 28K in invoices, you should mention it....that way if it scares off the potential buyer its good....thats a tire kicker anyway. Good luck !

 

Here is my advice.

Don't be intimidated by the folks on FerrariChat into pricing your car down to levels that suit THEM.

And I wouldn't post all kinds of information about your car publicly. Less is more. Post as briefly as you can the relevant things like notable service history, mileage, condition etc. Leave the rest for curiosity: let the interested folks contact you. It's not about being secretive. It's about having private discussions with buyers instead of public discussions, which is what many of the FerrariChat folks want so they can beat apart your car.

For some reason, many folks on this board are very hostile to sellers. I caution you to that.
