I saw the movie last night and did not like it.
So watched the movie again since the gf wanted to see it, wasnt really paying attention, but realized how short the movie was and how they kind of rushed through events and actually thought about the last scene when they're in his lab and though he could have survived. But...The Good News. I had a buy one get one free ticket, so no harm no foul. Should have seen Enchanted.
One Quick Question: When he sees the mannequin right in front of Grand Central and he gets caught in the trap, who set the trap? The Zombies?
I think he had set that trap at that location, but i think the zombies put the mannequin there but he just forgot he put a trap there. He was alone for awhiles so probably set a lot traps throughout the city.
I disagree. I think the "zombies" set it. He made a comment earlier that they had no social structure at all, when clearly the "leader" was pi$$ed that he had captured the girl. They showed clearly thought out tactics and commands on the pier. Plus they knew to follow him home. They were clearly still intelligent and had a heiarchy set up. All in all, it was an OK movie. Still had many flaws. Like, if the island of Manhattan was cut off from the mainland, (bridges blown, and I'm assuming tunnels blown too), how does the Brazilian hottie get on and off Manhattan? Dave
watch the Cult of UHF revival of Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price... FULL MOVIE: http://cultofuhf.wordpress.com/2007/11/19/cult-of-uhf-episode-40-the-last-man-on-earth/ same story, a little zombie twist which makes the trap they set make sense... click to play. it makes three levels, human (vincent) then half-breds that are marginally functional, and then pure zombie. they send a halfbreed girl to watch him and trap him, he discovers the cure then they show up to off him and the final scene is much better ending on an altar at a church.
Ah ha. Makes sense now, should've been paying more attention. But I still think he could have survived with the other 2, but i understand since he lost his family and he found his purpose in life with the cure.
